The time had come to fire Khloé Kardashian. But first, Donald Trump had a question.
“What’s your charity?” Trump asked.
They were filming “The Celebrity Apprentice,” the reality-TV show where Trump schooled the faded and the semi-famous in the arts of advertising, salesmanship and workplace infighting. Most weeks, one winner got prize money for charity. One loser got fired.

“I’m going to give $20,000 to your charity,” Trump said, according to a transcript of that show.
He didn’t.
After the show aired in 2009, Kardashian’s charity did receive $20,000. But it wasn’t from Trump. Instead, the check came from a TV production company, the same one that paid out the show’s official prizes.

I stand corrected! LOL!
I doubt that Oprah gave all those gifts to the audience out of her pocket. Same with Ellen when she gives monitary gifts to people. It’s not from her pocket.
I remember an Oprah Winfrey Show several years ago is which she ‘gave away’ Pontiacs.
Studio audience went wild.
Actually Pontiac Motors gave them away as a publicity stunt to advertise one of their cars, G3, G4,G5?
Most of the folks got a rude awakening when they found out they had to pay the tax and other expenses related to the gift. Many were p!$$ed off.
Dear Oprah didn’t even pay the incidentals.
Yet she gets the credit for the give away.
I'm shattered to consider this as a prospect!
Perhaps I was a bit harsh, and hasty in my petulant glibness. I get that way when I'm off my meds. I do apologize.
