(CNN)-Donald Trump is postponing a major immigration speech he was set to deliver Thursday in Colorado as his campaign continues to fine-tune his immigration policy. The decision came after Trump, whose hardline immigration policies appealed to many GOP primary voters, met Saturday with his Hispanic advisory council and said in an interview Monday morning that he wants to "come up with a really fair, but firm" immigration policy.
Trump denied in an interview Monday morning on Fox News that he was "flip-flopping" on the issue of illegal immigration. A Trump campaign source said the campaign decided to push back Trump's immigration speech as it is still fine-tuning its immigration policy and the speech's language.

No, amihow meant that it is not enough to only deport those illegals who are otherwise criminals. That is, leaving 30 million additional illegals in the country ain’t gonna cut it.
Let’s hope Trump is getting his spine back on this one and that is why his speech on it is being delayed.

Sessions also said it is too soon to talk about what we do with otherwise noncriminal illegals here, and that we have to close the border first. I’m not sure what position he has in mind for us to only hear after that, but that was what John McCain went with in 2010 in order to get himself reelected.

I seriously doubt whatever speech he gives is going to differ greatly from his position above. First of all, he knows those need to happen to cure the problem; and second, if he backs down in any significant way, many of his supporters will be seriously angry. His positiion on illegals and “legal” immigration is one of, if not the, main thing that has attracted millions of people to support him.
He also said Trump will let ICE and the BP “do their job”. Which would be a 1000% improvement in deportations.
There are way more than 11 million illegals. Ann Coulter’s book claimed the updated figures or over 30 million.
Hey, I'm just speculating. Not sure what Trump is going to propose here. He'll still be better on immigration than the other 16 candidates he vanquished.

First off, there are upwards of 40,000,000. The lying left has been citing that eleven million figure for twenty years. Any fool knows it’s at least triple that number now.
Secondly, they’re not immigrants - they’re ILLEGAL immigrants. More correctly, they’re criminal invaders.

CNN wants supporters to doubt Trump and as most of you already know are INTENTIONALLY attempting to write articles to imply this. Please when reading and posting this “stuff” from CNN, MSNBC, Nee York Times, Washington Post, etc... Take it with a grain of salt.
These media organizations tend to deliver misleading news 90% of the time, and tend to be correct about 10% of the time. Which is real news slipping out.
And the 10% correct is just a sprinkle of seasoning so their “news” articles don’t look like pure fiction.... Note my tagline. :-)
Why ANYONE pays the slightest heed to any media other than Breitbart, FR and the commentary therein, Gateway pundit and some others, I cannot for the life of me figure out.

Yeah, I get it. No worries. I just get a bit bent out of shape at the mention of any form of amnesty.
Trump has come up with some pretty creative approaches, so I will be interested to see what he announces.
