I’ve noticed the last 20 years (and it’s getting worse) that most news stories beg more questions than they answer. And usually some of those begged questions are key to understanding the story.

I don’t have a lot of respect for modern journalism.

I agree, journalism is in an awful state.
Far too many news articles fail to provide standard story-telling information framework detailing:
Who, what, when, where, why, and how.

We baby boomers learned that in our 3rd grade English class.
