It is by design, all the big “boxes” have been promoting .com sales - big time!The more customers they can convert to .com sales the less it costs them to do business. Home Cheapo been doing this for years now and openly admitted to we employees that they would eventually get rid of most of us. It’s the same with why they promote self check out.

A buddy at work has been shorting them since the bathroom debacle. He’s making some money off this!
No doubt they dropped and their announcement they are to spend 20 Million system wide to make sure all stores have at least one private bathroom basically admits this but they just can’t bring themselves to admit the full reality because their “social justice” CEO is a moron.
