Inside Donald Trump’s Meltdown
Time Magazine ^ | 8/11/16 | Alex Altman

Posted on 08/11/2016 1:08:04 PM PDT by NotchJohnson

When Donald Trump mucks things up, the first person to let him know is usually Republican Party boss Reince Priebus. Almost every day, Trump picks up his cell phone to find Priebus on the line, urging him to quash some feud or clarify an incendiary remark.

The Wisconsin lawyer has been a dutiful sherpa to the Manhattan developer, guiding him through the dizzying altitude of the presidential race and lobbying the GOP to unite behind a figure who threatens its future.

Not that I believe anything the Time prints, but Reince Priebus should spent more time telling other Republican leaders to support the candidate rather than talking to Trump.

The liberal media are the ones having the meltdowns.

It is fun to watch them destroy themselves and their so-called “objectivity”. They don’t even pretend anymore to have any.

The whole world of parasites that have been living on US since obama and hillary been giving everything away are in melt down.

SOOOOOOOOOOO many ppl will have so much to lose once Trump is president. There are 3 debates before election, Hillary, sellout pols, the press and the NWO crowd will find themselves in new game

Expect Trump to go after indictments DOJ would never bring. He will probably only have few news people he will deal with. You dont touch his wife. So the plagarism pitchfork crowd and the the people that posted her nude pics on NY Post, hmmmmm.....you dont do that to an alpha male’s wife

We use

Bully for you.

I use "Newspeak" as the pejorative title for that publication, as I have done since some time in the late 1980s. I will continue to do so. You, of course, are free to use such terminology as you see fit.

Freedom is a wonderful thing.

Have a nice day.

Meltdown? They won’t bother to mention Hillary throwing things at Bill in the White House, though. Or Hillary telling a handler to “get that fu**ing dog away from me”, or retorting to a SS agent who said good morning that it was bad enough she had to see them, let alone talk to them.

[A despotic] government always [keeps] a kind of standing army of newswriters who, without any regard to truth or to what should be like truth, [invent] and put into the papers whatever might serve the ministers. This suffices with the mass of the people who have no means of distinguishing the false from the true paragraphs of a newspaper." --Thomas Jefferson to G. K. van Hogendorp, Oct. 13, 1785. (*) ME 5:181, Papers 8:632

"No experiment can be more interesting than that we are now trying, and which we trust will end in establishing the fact, that man may be governed by reason and truth. Our first object should therefore be, to leave open to him all the avenues to truth. The most effectual hitherto found, is the freedom of the press. It is, therefore, the first shut up by those who fear the investigation of their actions." --Thomas Jefferson to John Tyler, 1804. ME 11:33

"[I have seen] repeated instances of the publication of what has not been intended for the public eye, and the malignity with which political enemies torture every sentence from me into meanings imagined by their own wickedness only... Not fearing these political bull-dogs, I yet avoid putting myself in the way of being baited by them, and do not wish to volunteer away that portion of tranquillity, which a firm execution of my duties will permit me to enjoy." --Thomas Jefferson to John Norvell, 1807. ME 11:226

"But the fact being once established, that the press is impotent when it abandons itself to falsehood, I leave to others to restore it to its strength by recalling it within the pale of truth. Within that, it is a noble institution, equally the friend of science and of civil liberty." --Thomas Jefferson to Thomas Seymour, 1807. ME 11:155

Lincoln didn't want a war -

No, he didn't want a war, but what he wanted even less was the loss of $200 million/year in European Trade, plus the creation of trade and manufacturing competition 800 miles south of New York.

Southern independence was a horrible threat to the financial interests of both the New York/New England area, and the revenues of the Federal government. (3/4ths of all Federal income was produced by the 1/4th of the US citizens which lived in the South.)

When faced with the bankruptcy of his most significant financial backers and massive losses of revenue to his government, War to prevent this became the more desirable outcome, especially since he thought it would be over quickly and easily.

640,000 Americans died and all we have to show for it is . . . Black Lives Matter? What, are you freaking kidding me?

The last numbers i've seen have been revised upwards to 750,000. I now use that 750,000 number as the official death tally of the Civil War.

What we got out of it was FedZilla. That is the point at which out of control Federal dominance over the states began.

As der Hildebeast’s lies and deceptions literally have her campaign melting, the media is doing everything they can to prop her up. They cannot have Trump with a sure win to the White House. It does not sell and the media is certainly in a death spiral for revenue. They need to generate a spectacle, like good Yellow Journalists they have become.

Really!

So Slime gets calls/emails from Reince Priebus saying he just called Trump!

Anyone, who believes this, has lost any reality they might have had.
