Say what you want about Arianna Huffington, but I always thought she was great in the role of Lisa Douglas on “Green Acres.”

Yes, Roy Huffington. I had a friend who helped build the company...was one of the first people hired by Roy. I heard a lot of good stories! He did the eulogy at my friend's funeral. That's where I talked to him. He was very nice.

I always thought it was ironic that his $$$ was seed money for Huff Post and his name was on it. It is so foreign to his thinking. :)

Arianna's main claim to fame ... she is/was an expert on Picasso...IIRC.

Do you remember when Michael ran for the senate in CA? IIRC, he was conservative but they were still married and she probably cost him the election because she was discovered to be involved with a cult or something weird.

Remembering the little I do...and knowing how liberal she is now, I wonder if she did it on purpose.

I knew everything that I will ever need to know about those two worthless scum following that conversation which got Maher’s network show (which I also never watched) kicked off ABC.

I knew a couple of guys who worked for Huffco in Turkey, back in the 80s. They were doing exploration in Eastern Turkey at the time. They would host an Open House on Friday evenings. Good people, good times. They all spoke very highly of ‘Roy’.
