Yes, Roy Huffington. I had a friend who helped build the company...was one of the first people hired by Roy. I heard a lot of good stories! He did the eulogy at my friend's funeral. That's where I talked to him. He was very nice.

I always thought it was ironic that his $$$ was seed money for Huff Post and his name was on it. It is so foreign to his thinking. :)

Arianna's main claim to fame ... she is/was an expert on Picasso...IIRC.

No. Her claim to fame was bilking Michael Huffington out of a lot of $$$ during their divorce so she she could be a political gadfly/socialite. Then selling money-losing HuffPo to major media company for again a lot of $$$.

I knew a couple of guys who worked for Huffco in Turkey, back in the 80s. They were doing exploration in Eastern Turkey at the time. They would host an Open House on Friday evenings. Good people, good times. They all spoke very highly of ‘Roy’.
