I am no electronic expert, but I would say you are good to go. That engine is run by points and a condenser which I am told is immune to an EMP.

Something that would be perfect is a vehicle or generator run by an old diesel engine.

I’d add a spare condenser and coil safely stored.
Condenser = capacitor
Ignition coil= long copper conductor on both the high and low side.

If the generator has an exciter for the rotating field, find a spare exciter.
I’m not familiar with an Ajax generator, but have quite a bit of experience with ST type 1800 rpm generators. If they are similar, I might suggest a spare rectifier as well.
