How to Hack an Election in 7 Minutes
Politico ^ | August 5, 2016 | Alex Halderman

When Princeton professor Andrew Appel decided to hack into a voting machine, he didn’t try to mimic the Russian attackers who hacked into the Democratic National Committee's database last month. He didn’t write malicious code, or linger near a polling place where the machines can go unguarded for days. Instead, he bought one online.

Electronic hacking of voting machines is where there exists a real risk of voting fraud.”

I agree.

But I think the important point here is that we are light years beyond risk.

Massive vote fraud is a FACT.

Trump’s social media numbers prove it.

Media polls are fraudulent, and wikileaks has proven that the DNC and the media are one and the same. (it’s be good if someone hacked their “private polls” so we could see this clearly).

What we have to understand is not that we should be concerned about what “might” happen.

Rather, we should be trying to figure out if anything can be done GIVEN WHAT WE KNOW BEYOND A SHADOW OF A DOUBT IS GOING TO HAPPEN.

We go back to an ELECTION DAY and we all have to dip our finger in ink. That’s the only way to be sure.

To summarize....we are not re-living the 1980 US election.

We are rather re-living the Soviet Union...and perhaps the fall of the Soviet Union as Trump and his social media numbers are demonstrating the lie.

There is ZERO chance that the Clintons do not have an elaborate plan to “win”. But it has almost nothing to do with getting real voters to cast real votes....voters are just props for photo ops...like those paid actors at the DNC.

When you look at everything through that lens, all of a sudden, it starts to make more sense.

This is good news!

Democrats no longer have to import millions of illegal aliens to vote early and often in order to steal elections. Now they can do it from the comfort of their own homes.

As the article correctly points out, the idea of “voting in private” is relatively new.

Voting in private does tend to dissipate social tensions. (It noted that once voting went private, that coincided with the first national election where a murder did not occur!).

But voting in private also opens up the possibilities of the current, fraudulent system.

Yes, but notice that Trump is claiming that there is a danger that some individuals might vote "ten times," presumably by showing up at polling places ten different times wearing disguises, etc. Nobody does that. The real risk concerns these machines but we're never going to address the real problem by chasing ghosts.

We need to do something about these electronic machines.

we are not re-living the 1980 US election.

We are rather re-living the Soviet Union...”

I know I’m quoting myself and conversing with myself....

But the question becomes...what sort of political action is appropriate if we are living in the Soviet Union? And not in America?

I’m not sure I know the answer to that. But I know a huge part of the Velvet Revolution and Yeltsin’s revolution in Russia were all of the massive protests.

But our situation is a bit different in that the main fall out of the Clintons “winning” is still more of a boost for Isis and all Islamists, and likely, a large hit on the US (which presents an opportunity to blame Christians like Nero, and gun owners). And to in turn promote MORE acceptance of Islam...and in turn...more donations to the Clinton foundation for speaking up on how Islam is beautiful and true.

It’s all pretty simple really from the Clintons perspective.

It’s not clear to us what happens other than taking to the streets...but knowing that the streets are not safe b/c of terrorist threat....

They may know from their real, internal polls that hilary has no chance.

I was going to mention that it also explains why all of a sudden there are countless FALSE Polls all over the News showing Hillary in the Lead. Pump her up, when she fails VOTE FRAUD, THE POLLS SHOWED.....

In the longer term, correct.

But it’s way too late this cycle to go down that road.

The question is, how do we respond/organize knowing what we ABSOLUTELY KNOW?

Pump her up, when she fails VOTE FRAUD, THE POLLS SHOWED.....”

Good point.

Pump her up, if they happen to win (if their vote fraud is successful), then Trump can’t complain (”the polls showed...”).

If she happens to lose (because...as relatively unbiased social media shows...Trump’s numbers are massive and their vote fraud is not good enough), then, they can complain (”the polls showed...”).

Isn’t this exactly the right game plan from their perspective?

“Nobody does that.”

They kinda do. Maybe not Groucho Marx disguises, but with phony docs of recently-deceased people, etc. I believe there was a time when Democrats would pile losers into vans and/or buses and shuttle them from polling place to polling place in exchange for money or goodies.

But you’re right; in this era, tweaking technology will be their method of choice.

In 31 of our states there are Republican governors, including the important states of Florida, Ohio, North Carolina, Wisconsin, New Jersey and Michigan. Shouldn't we expect them to protect the integrity of any machines that they use?

The Democrats have governors in only three "battleground" states: New Hampshire, Pennsylvania and Virginia. (I think we have to assume that Governor Brown in California doesn't have to cheat for Clinton to win there.)

It seems to me that there is plenty that our governors can do to ensure a legitimate election.

Interestingly....there is always a market for “real” polls.

Is this LA Time/USC one of those?

You can’t stop people from seeking profit, and a bunch of stat geeks out in California think they have a good product. It “sounds” good. Large sample, sound methodology. There is no doubt that honest, legitimate polling does in fact ascertain opinions.

Is this one of them?

Interestingly, it is showing a tied race.

But after reading up about Trump’s social media numbers....I am now of the opinion that the true unbiased data which exists shows Trump has a commanding lead, and would likely win Romney states plus MI, WI, PA. Maybe a few others.

(We still have to accept that there are TONS of people out there...and many of them vote....that absolutely hate Trump...they hate him b/c they have bought into the worldview propagated by the media/DNC...they have bought into the baloney that “Trump is racist”).

So I’m not sure that Trump would win in a fair election in a LANDSLIDE. But I do think he would win. I think this is what unbiased social media shows.

In my entire life, I have never known anyone who claimed to have voted improperly. Not only that, in my entire life, I have never known anyone who claimed to know anyone else who claimed to have voted improperly. And, I know why. Nobody is motivated to to go to all that trouble to cast an illegal vote. That doesn't make any sense at all.

However, these machines present a real risk.

Watch the video that MayflowerMadam posted. Unfortunately, I don’t think that is true at all. I think the system is completely compromised, and I don’t think the fraud is even all that difficult.

I still think to the extent that we are hoping for/thinking about/considering an “honest election” we are simply not understanding the times that we are in.

We are way beyond that.

And given that, what do we do?

We may have to wait a few decades, and endure a few major terrorist attacks. But it would be good if we could not go down that road.....

I have no trust in what government does. Hell, a felon walks loose. Anyone else, other than Killary, would be in jail.
