All this talk about how carriers are easy to sink is amateur hour. Its like saying a Marine is vulnerable to machine gun fire, so Marines are obsolete. A carrier today costs upwards of $14 billion and takes a decade to build. Sending one to the bottom of the sea would be a significant loss.

If a major power is shooting nukes at our carriers the there are much bigger problems than that to deal with.
