TRUMP ON TOP in Latest USC-LA Times Daybreak Tracking Poll – But It Gets Even Better…

Donald Trump leads Hillary Clinton 45.3 to 43.7 in the latest USC-LA Times Daybreak tracking poll. trump thumb up

But the news is even better for Donald Trump… The poll is weighted to match demographics from the 2012 election.

No one in their right mind believes Democrats have the advantage this year.

Donald Trump shattered the previous GOP primary record by 1.4 million votes this year — and that was with 17 candidates in the race!

Hillary Clinton received 1.5 million fewer votes this year than she did in 2008 – when she lost!

Trump continues to sell out venue after venue.

You can always tell by the intensity of the attacks who and what the enemy fears the most.

I see plenty of articles refuting the attacks on Trump. Which begs the question, why is the GOPe joining in?

I fear for my country when there is no devotion to truth or morality.

The poll is weighted to match demographics from the 2012 election.”

That’s good, though, as a methodology.

Your fears are well founded. We live in a corrupt kleptocracy. Call it the DC Cabal if you will. And I don’t say that lightly.

The GOPe is an integral part of this system and they want to defend the status quo against those who would attempt to restore some semblance of truth or morality.

Advantage Trump!

1. three terms for any party is rare: only GHW Bush did it.
2. Trump blew out his multitude of opposition in the primaries. Hillary may not have even beat Sanders, or did so barely.

87% chance for Trump.

I want to be optimistic about this poll.

But the polling is all over the place, and I doubt we can put much confidence in *any* of it, whether or not it’s telling us what we want to hear.

That’s a good point: its GOP failures and malfeasance that gave rise to the Trump phenomenon. Had the GOP done even a reasonably good job or representing and defending the interests of its voting base there would be no need for a Trump candidacy.

It is a delicious irony that they are largely responsible for creating this insurrection. Its just fortunate for us that Trump happened to come along and be willing to fight the good fight on our behalf. For that alone, we already owe him a huge debt of gratitude, if not our financial support.

That is a very good point. Take the super delegates out and Bernie would have won. Hannity did a whole thing on this very topic. So there are a majority of democrats who know their party screwed them and we really do not know how they will react!

Agreed. We would probably be seeing a different sort of affair if the GOPe had been able to trot out Jeb Bush or John Kasich as the candidate because the left would know that just that many more conservatives would stay home because of either the above mentioned.

Taking out the complicity of the DNC as well, she wouldn’t have had any chance of getting the nomination.

With that methodology there is no way to account for “the Bern effect”. Also no way to account for the higher percentage of Black and Hispanic vote coming to Trump over the 2012 election.

Hillary may not have even did not beat Sanders The nomination was handed to her on a silver platter from Day One through all the Kabuki Theater of the "democratic" primary.
