COLLEGE STATION, Texas Texas A&M has suspended two assistant football coaches for two weeks for what they described as a "failed attempt at humor" this week at a football clinic for women.
Coach Kevin Sumlin announced Friday night that offensive line coach Jim Turner and special teams coordinator Jeff Banks have been suspended without pay and will have to serve 20 hours of community service.

Yet if it were the other way around, they’d call it “empowering”.

Seems like good advise for blocking....

Offensive line coach Jim Turner was too offensive for the delicate snowflakes. Special teams coordinator Jeff Banks forgot just how special the new entitled generation thinks they are.

Just STOOPID to have these. If they want to know about the game of football, women should ask their husbands, sons, brothers or fathers. Good grief - and in Texas yet.

Yep, and then like in Diner, they have to pass the quiz before they can get married.

Any women who attends a "football clinic" should be required to have a sense of humor. If you want to hang out with the boys you got to learn to roll with them.
Our you could hang out with pajama boy.

No excuse at this late date. These guys should know by now that the college environment is a police state where political correctness is the rule.

What do they expect from an offensive line coach?

Not excusing the stupidity of the suspended coaches, but agree the entire premise of the event is just one big “STUPID” since it is just for women. Do it for everyone and you’d have a much better fund-raiser.

You have GOT to be kidding me. If people wonder why chivalry doesn’t exist anymore - it’s this. Call me back when false rape claims get prosecuted, until then, don’t bother.

Really? This is how far we’ve come?
Sad and frightening at the same time.
What about comedian rights?

They were suspended for engaging in the kind of trashy sexual innuendo that has become a staple of TV sitcoms and even game shows like Family Feud. Poor saps; they didn’t realize the various layers of hypocrisy, double standards, and political correctness that operate in this country today.
