What Will Stop A Future Tyrannical Administration From Using Trumps Wall To Keep Us In?
7/27/2016 | OneVike

So, Trump is the candidate. Unlike Ted Cruz, a man I supported and still respect, I do endorse The Donald for President of These Unites States.

That being said, I always look at who runs for office in a futuristic way. What I mean is, what will our future be like if said politician got what he wants when elected.

It's an easy question that I have yet to hear anyone ask, or answer. What if Donald Trump does build the wall and it works so well that the only way in, or out of America is through Trump Wall?

Back in 2002 when George Bush suggested that we need a new dept to handle America's security, I screamed "HELL NO"! I did so, because we did not have a problem with security when 9/11 happened.

Nope, we had a problem with Bill Clinton wanting to stay out of jail over WhiteWater. So he had Jamie S. Gorelick create a wall of separation where information could not be shared. Thus we knew about the plot, but the people who knew could not tell the ones who needed to stop it from happening. (I'll let you all discuss that, but this is about something else)

Now we live under a government that in essence has a new dept that is above the law. A dept that Obama has been turning into his own little SS. Just wait, another lawless one will come one day to close the loop and end our freedom forever. The pieces are almost in place, minus one huge piece. A Wall!

So let's say in 8 years we are watching the greatest President in history retire after tuning the economy around. Immigration and terrorism has been defeated, Thanks in part to the, Trump Wall". We all praise him by electing his son, the junior Senator from NY, Eric Trump, as the next President of the United States.

Time s are good, we all stop paying attention until things go bad again, as they always do, as they always will, and Eric loses after 4 years to a politician that will make Obama look like a school kid.

This leader now turns things around to the point he/she turns Trump Wall into an iron curtain to stop us from fleeing his tyrannical rule.

So, what's to stop this future dictator from using the wall to keep us from fleeing?

Just do like the Mexicans do and head north.

No wall up there.

I did so, because we did not have a problem with security when 9/11 happened.

Actually you did.

And it proceeded BJC and even Jimmy Carter.

It began with you decided that electing JFK was a good idea because who cared about the southern border and passing the Hart-Seller Act was a good idea.

Tell that to those who lived under the Iron Curtain

With all due respect, I think that is what rightazrain meant, in the sense that life was absolutely miserable for those behind the Iron Curtain.

Actually not, because we have the means to stop the flood now, but it’s not being done. We have the means to stop gun violence, but we don’t. Passing new gun laws is not the answer, enforcing laws on the books now is the way to stop gun violence.

I disagree that building a wall is the way to stop illegals coming in. Enforcing the laws we now have on the books is the way to do so.

Why are we always agreeing to go to the extreme before we try doing what is within our ability and the law to do now?

Oh I see, because we have a president who refuses to enforce the law. Right?

No, that is not a good reason. Enforce the damn laws we have. They will work, because they have worked in the past.

NO, because I also disagree with Ted Cruz on this.

I disagree with anyone who refuses to first do what we have the laws in place to do now.

And, damn it, start firing people and politician who won’t.

Obama could have just as well leave the doors open and tell them to ignore the flood. The border is not the frigging problem. It is the fact our politicians don’t have the will to follow the law.

I wholeheartedly agree about enforcement.

That’s what our whole problem is, there are no consequences to anyone’s actions any more.

So then how is a wall going to fix anything. Another Bush, Obama, Clinton or even GW Bush(who never enforced them either)come along and we end up with what, another 20 years of the door left open and no enforcement?

Untill they want to enforce it when we want to leave.

Sorry, I could care less if it is Trump, Cruz, or Ronald Reagan., I just think that creating something new is not the answer until we prove the laws in place wont work.

Otherwise they will just erect steps and climb over it. Hell, We give them damn watering holes so they can surv8ve the trip. Thanks you George Bush!

Enforce the laws, or replace the leaders and others who won’t, because building a wall will not fix stupid.

We are already trapped here Vike. you cannot just sell out and leave this country without paying fines and taxes. You also cannot stop paying taxes if you do get out. No one wants us because of the onerous burdens the USGOV puts on foreign companies and governments to collect taxes we have to pay when living and working on foreign soil.

A wall is much easier to deal with than the long arm of Washington.

That’s why we have had to have one amnesty after another because the laws on the books are working. Pull the other one.
“Insanity is repeating the same mistakes and expecting different results”.

So this time let’s build the wall instead of just posturing about laws on the books. Then when we can control our borders we can work on deporting the criminal aliens and perhaps they won’t just slip back 7 times like they do now.

So we just capitulate to the politicians who refuse to do their jobs.

Instead of taking this anger that Trump is riding and get rid of 1/2 the elected officials and replace them with others who will follow the laws.

We lost then, and it’s time to give up.

When those who fight accept more of the same because what we have won’t do, then the politicians win and we have accepted our roll as a slave.

In essence, that is what you both and many other Freepers have said.

All this that we bitch and complain about is a waste of time, because you both know that the wall is just a symptom of a fallen society that can no longer defend that which is ours.

By the way, the reason Israel has walls around the Palestinian cities, is because they gave up fighting a long time ago.

When you put cockroaches in a room and close the door instead of killing them, they will eventually infest the other rooms. Anyone who refuses to see that is an idiot.

You exterminate and remove the problems. You don’t build walls and close doors while pretending the problem is fixed.

I will vote for Trump, as will more than enough to get him elected, but unless we do a hell of a lot more than build a wall we will visit this problem time and time again.

For 18 years I have read how everyone here claims they will rise up and take arms to fight.

Yea, Right!

Bull.

I’ve been hearing that since I was a young boy. Now those whom I’ve heard say that back then are old or dead, and our rights have eroded to the point where we are slaves already.

We’re just a nation full of angry dead men walking who have been reduced to watching other men [ LaVoy Finicium ] fight and die for what they believe while we agree to build a wall.

Too late to fight, too late to reverse or even stop that which we see happening, because the first round should have been fired many, many years ago.

If Trump gets elected, then you all better fight as hard for him as you did against the left. Because if he fails, it’s over.

And this will be my last election.

The future dictator's wall is already in place at LAX today. It's called the TSA.

Even your first-choice candidate (Solemn-Pledge-Breaker Cruz) eventually came out in favor of building a wall on our southern border, as he clearly states on his campaign website:

"To regain control of our border, a Cruz Administration will:

I disagreed with Cruz also.

Look, I don’t care if Ronald Reagan came back from the dead and supported a wall. I would still be against it.

Well, if you ever really feel the need to escape, you might want to choose somewhere along one of the sections of the U.S. border that would not have a wall (which would be most of the U.S. border).
