Donald Trump on Monday dismissed as a 'joke' claims by Hillary Clinton's campaign that Russia is trying to help Trump by leaking thousands of emails from the Democratic National Committee.
'The new joke in town is that Russia leaked the disastrous DNC e-mails, which should have never been written (stupid), because Putin likes me,' Trump wrote as part of a series of Tweets. 'Hillary was involved in the e-mail scandal because she is the only one with judgement (sic) so bad that such a thing could have happened.'
The hacking enraged die-hard Sanders supporters who have long claimed that the DNC had its finger on the scale throughout the primaries.
The disclosures prompted the resignation of DNC chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz on the eve of the party's convention in Philadelphia, where Clinton is expected to officially accept the nomination for president.
It wasn't immediately clear how WikiLeaks received copies of the internal Democratic emails, though a hacker who calls himself 'Guccifer 2.0' has taken credit for passing the DNC's documents along.
Among them, one exchange shows DNC Chief Financial Officer Brad Marshall floating the idea that Sanders religious beliefs, or lack thereof, could boost Clinton's standing in Kentucky and West Virginia.

Did Barry not give enough flexibility to Putin after the election, thus Putin takes it out on Hillary via Assange and, by a convoluted extension, Trump? I once did trust the FBI ~ did I detect a note of sarcasm in that remark?
Kind of off topic but there is a rumor (leak?) floating around the when the FBI finally got on the ground in Benghazi to start their “investigation that left no stone unturned to bring those responsible to justice” they were, amazingly, able to locate a Benghazi Embassy email server or a computer system (Amb. Stevens personal computer?) which may or may not have been an official US .gov system that was intact enough to pull data off of it.
On that Benghazi Embassy server was a combination of very significant Clinton Foundation emails and emails from Hillary Clinton's email system that were not part of the emails that she supplied to the Dept of State and the FBI. These emails detailed.
I remember when the Benghazi attack was in progress, a frantic female Hillary aide was interviewed live on TV. The interviewer asked about our exposure to loss of Top Secret information in the embassy attack and she mentioned that they were currently dealing with a situation where Amb Stevens, as part of his visit to Benghazi, was in possession of “ highly sensitive oil contract documents” for a meeting (she kind of implied that was the purpose of his visit there) and that those documents had gone missing and they were frantically trying to locate and secure those documents.
An interesting comment, especially in light of what we are learning Hillary and the Clinton Foundation. Were those documents US government or Clinton Foundation - or both.

You are missing the point. The DNC and Hillary want your attention focused on who hacked their server. The substance matters not. The FBI will add to the distraction. Inspector Comey is on the case.

Besides, we’ve also uncovered substantial evidence that this is really just a simple case of cosmic, ironic karma, which is not illegal and therefore cannot be prosecuted anyway.”
I would not be surprised if the FBI somehow comes up with Republicans as responsible for the leaks. At least that is the answer Obama wants. If not now ... perhaps in October.
Yeah, like any true Christian believes that clinton is religious. She's a Christian like hussein is a Christian...not at all.
