Was Trump Right? Leaked DNC Email Shines Unexpected Light On Cruz's "Militant" Father
Zero Hedge ^ | 7/25/2016 | Tyler Durden

Posted on 07/25/2016 9:48:19 AM PDT by orchestra

In yet another awkward moment for Democratic talking-point-providers and Trump-deniers, Wikileaks' leaked DNC emails turned up an interesting factual confirmation of Trump's 'conspiracy theory' questions about Ted Cruz's father's background... "I will note that Cruz's father was in fact a militant who fought the Batista regime (which Fidel Castro defeated) and it would not be unusual for him to be caught up in the ugly web of Cuban militants with questionable histories."

I know your only posting this to get your Cruz sycophants(like DaveyB) to jump up in here to say Donald this and Donald that, when the article you are posting has nothing to do with him. The longer I stay around here the more I realize the troll tactics.

Trump is the nominee so deal with it.

I wish you folks would quit with the lies about Cruz. The DNC e-mails showed no such collusion at all and you would know that if you spent 10 minutes searching the wikileaks site. But I guess it’s more fun to tear down a man who had the integrity to refuse to endorse someone who had attacked his wife and accused his father of a heinous crime.

The e-mail in question was one sent by Cuccinelli to the cruz e-mail list as a fundraiser. A DNC member had registered with the Cruz list under a gmail account, as I’m sure every candidate and committee did with every other candidate - to see what they’re up to.

If I don’t vote for Trump, it will be because of this incessant character assassination of the one candidate in the Republican field who actually stood up to Trump and refused to kiss his ring. My inclination is to put a clothespin on my nose and vote for Trump because of the SCOTUS nominees and the hope that he puts good people in there. But this ridiculous level of vitiol toward Cruz just might make me change my mind. And it will be his and your fault for losing this vote - not mine.

Oh, so now there is NO news in this article? Maybe I am taking your post the wrong way-you can explain if you like. No trolling about it, I post what I want okay?

Trump seems to be doing pretty good about now. And that is without you on his campaign staff dishing out orders. Amazing, isn’t it?

A truly intelligent and humble person would respond “Oh you’re right, my bad, I missed the point, thanks for correcting me”.

Now it can be seen what you are.

Oh no, toots. It will be your fault entirely because you will be putting your personal animus before your Country. That’s sick, unprincipled and disgusting. If your mind can be so easily changed because you can’t get over having voted for a loser, that’s your problem and might I suggest a shrink.

You and your cronies (you all know who you are) on these threads get off on issuing with great regularity your implied threats that you will change your collective minds and not vote for Trump if Freepers don’t stop saying nasty things about Cruz. Waaaaaah, Waaaaah, Waaaaah. I’m sick of all of you. I held my nose and voted Pub in the last 2 RINO Prez elections; it’s your turn to hold yours. And if you don’t, you literally do not love your Country, and Hitlery will run roughshod over it for 4-8 years. By then we will be a goner. Be a Patriot and do your duty. Man up. Stop whining. And stop your stupid threats or take them elsewhere. Sheesh.

Not this again.

Sorry, but Trump didn’t attack Cruz’s wife or accuse his father of anything.

This has been rehashed over and over.

Nobody is responsible for his parents’ behavior.

The picture of the man with Oswald is not useful for iding anyone. It was shot with Tri-x and developed in Rodinal with probably a 35mm camera.

Senior Cruz is not that tall and nowhere near as skinny. Cruz was 20 at the time, the guy in the picture looks 20 years older.

Cruz visited Cuba in the summer of 1959 and saw Fidel’s destruction and began speaking out against Fidel when he returned to Texas in the fall.

Most people in Cuba supported Fidel during the revolution which was why the Batista regime fell.

It is not Cruz.

Nobody ever said Ted was responsible for his father’s deeds! What a diversion.

But children grow up under the influence of their parents. Look how all the children of George H.W. Bush and Barbara (the lush) are druggies, drunks, swindlers, killers, and globalist tools.

Of course he did, and you know it. I saw the tweet from him directly in response to a Cruz-supporting PAC member (not Cruz himself at all) post on Melania. Further, I saw the video where he mentioned the ridiculous accusation about Cruz’ father and the assassination of JFK.

At least be honest with yourself about it. You folks blame Cruz for things that he didn’t actually do, and turn around and state as fact that Trump did NOT do something that I have clearly seen him do. At least be honest with yourself and with others. That would go a long way toward healing wounds. If you have any interest in doing that.

I agree, and the same goes for their children’s and sibling’s. Unless they support or enable that behavior.

Listen, sweetie. I have not voted Democrat since 1976 and don’t intend to start now. And I won’t vote for Hillary under any circumstances. But, it not my DUTY to vote for Trump either. It is his responsibility to convince voters to vote for him, not the other way around. I’m not threatening anything - just trying to let you people know that you’re not helping your cause with people who should be your natural allies. But you seem more interesting in beating Cruz down than defeating Hillary.

And as for loving my country, I certainly do so. I had hoped either Trump would show me that he deserves to be President or we would select someone more appropriate, but here we are again. Like I said, just about the only reasons I can see to vote for him is SCOTUS and he has some advisors I respect. But I do not have a strong feeling that he will actually carry out his promises on these based on his history. I guess we’ll see if he gets there.
