Clinton: Benghazi security was ‘not my ball to carry’

Hillary Clinton said the security at the American compound in Benghazi, Libya, was “not her ball to carry” and admonished Republicans for politicizing the 2012 attack that left four Americans dead.

In her first joint interview with running mate Tim Kaine on "60 Minutes" Sunday, Clinton said while she took responsibility for the attacks because she was secretary of State when it happened, none of the nine separate investigations found her culpable.

"So when this happened in Benghazi, I immediately stood up an independent committee -- distinguished Americans, military and civilian experts. They came out and they said, "You know, the ball was dropped -- in security. And, you know, some of the decisions that were made, probably should have been rethought."

Clinton went on to say concerns about security at the American Diplomatic Compound in Benghazi

It's the head coach that gets fired after a disastrous season, not the ball carrier!

Low level staffers do not make decisions on an acute security concerns. This goes up the line until someone say yes or no. Even a high level staffer would not make the decision as if he or she was wrong, it is a career end-er. I assure you the requests for additional security were passed up to Hillary Clinton. She is the one that denied it.

Even if a high level staffer made the first decision after many multiple requests for additional security came in, he or she would have said to himself, “this is a above my pay grade. This decision belongs to Hillary.”

Once again she reaches for a bottle instead of the facts.

The Fact is based on previous IRB recommendations and actions taken after other Embassy attacks the S.O.S. was the ONLY person in the State Department that had the authority to “Waive” mandated security measures.

The fact that the experts on the ground repeatedly requested additional security measures for this compound and she refused is all you need to know.

What about dropping the ball on sending help? Where the Hell were you and what were you doing...for 13 fricking hours!?!?!?

The PRESIDENT is the only one who can authorize US troops to invade a foreign country. MADAM Benghazi was nothing but a pawn in that situation.

To understand Benghazi, you have to understand Hussein Obama's possible motives to block U S troops from killing Muslim terrorists.

WHY would a guy named Hussein who was raised in a Muslim country and who had his school records show he was a Muslim student attempt to hide the identity of Muslim terrorists? If you need someone else to tell you the answer, you are never going to figure out the bottom line with Hussein and his love and support for Muslim terrorism.
