Next time but a trailer home made of metal and not plastic.
Even if the builder replaces the siding with a product that doesn’t melt, what a heat load on that wall!
Waiting for AlGore to chime in citing proof of global warming.
There is a street in London that you really feel the heat on the sidewalk from the reflected sun off an all glass office building...
how about putting in... A SHRUBBERY!
They have this problem with certain solar panels used in solar farms as well
All of this “green stuff” is just over priced garbage in my opinion.
Why is she just suing for 25K? She should be suing for the price of the entire house, unless homes in Ohio are selling for 25K new....
her house isn’t melting, its just being Recycled...
Another fine product from China?
duhhhh...it’s Vinyl. Real houses are made of wood and brick.
I had neighbors whose siding melted.
BBQ to close to the siding.
Having nailed a stud or two, something is WEIRD here. Windows are generally flat, and the sun moves through the sky. If the sun hits a winda (as we call them here in Texas), the reflection may well hit the neighboring house, but (unless the Earth stops rotating) the sun’s reflection will quickly move away and any spot will, at worst, see the effect of being directly in the sun in the first place, with no reflection.
Bottom line - this vinyl siding is TOTAL CRAP and someone needs to pay big (maybe the builder...unless he was tricked by the supplier).
