So sad. I was the biggest fan of Levin and would buy his books for gifts for friends and family members. And while I never cared for his permanently negative disposition and yelling, I was a regular listener. But I met Trump one-on-one once, about 8 years ago, and he was one of the most gracious, respectful and nice guys I’ve ever met (and I’ve met many heads of state, celebrities, politicians, generals, et al.). I also watched how he was so respectful to other ordinary people. And, I also met Mark Levin at a book signing in New Jersey a few years back. Not a nice guy and I will leave it at that. But I remained a faithful listener and fan of Levin’s up until he started attacking Trump and Trump’s supporters. I’m done with him for good.

If that’s really all it took for him to abandon a winning, modern candidate that can keep the hildebeast out of the WH, well, I’m stunned.

That must be some girlfriend.

My wife and I were discussing Beck and Levin this morning while walking our dog. She commented that “we must be independents now”, since we no longer listen. Interesting.

I quit Beck when he called Trump supporters “brownshirts” (I have the exact day and show somewhere). As for Mark…it was sometime after that…tuning in to shows on my rides home from work and hearing nothing but Trump-trashing…I just became offended and insulted. Both men have presented a lot of great and invaluable information to the discussions concerning politics, our founding documents, philosophy and the current state of affairs in the republic. I wish them both well. My disagreement with them has only come very recently with regards to the candidates. I could just as easily supported any of the 16 over Hillaryous Rotten Criminal. The evil inside the beltway still roams free. One candidate continues to speak about it. It is a threat to all Americans.

No comparison. Michael Savage is funny, witty and reflective. And his pissed off attitude comes from strong emotion and love of country and does not arise out of a negative disposition.

Levin is like listening to Civics 101 CliffNotes read by an angry man.

I concluded several years ago that they are nothing more than entertainers and their on-air personas are their shticks.

These lazy radio jocks will be exposed to having fostered liberalism simply to fill up their bank accounts by bitching about liberalism, yet they live like liberals..They are like preachers for hire. I over my life time wasted too much of my time and money on the JOKERS...

Me too. This has been a strange, eye opening election for me.

I hated Levin’s voice and his misplaced hostility, so I never listened to him though I respected him. But I loved Rush Limbaugh. Subscribed to his site for years without using it. Listened for almost 2 decades! Until he was hard to find in my area.

Then the NYT called him out for doing Ailes’s and Schumer’s bidding, going quiet on comprehensive immigration reform and not calling the bill amnesty. Which he did, to their satisfaction. But to us, he was still Chuck You Schumer. Lying to us, his audience, while kissing globalist butt. We had that whole weekend to wonder how Rush would respond come Monday.

I hoped that he would be able to prove that the dinner mentioned never happened. But at the very least I thought there would be a mea culpa, where Rush establishes loyalty going both ways between us and him, and says that he was blinded by their prominence and feels bad he never told us.

Nope. Rush was snippy and arrogant that day, admitted to the meeting, and started calling his loyal listeners haters. He claimed he didn’t do their bidding while basically proving that he did. He changed the content of his show to match what the globalist libs WANT. WITHOUT INTEGRITY there is no point to Rush Limbaugh, whom we made very rich.

Finally I understood why a) Rush never mentioned the fact that Barack Obama didn’t use his own social security number b) Rush insisted HE be pictured in all his children’s books and he be the star of the books, which would be better without him in them. Rush is all about Rush and he sells out to the highest bidder.

It was so disappointing. Now I see that most of the radio hosts are not truly caring about the republic, just their own bank accounts. It is easy to capitalize on the pain of Constitution lovers. And that is Ted Cruz to a T.

Look,.
Like him or not, Mr. Trump is the Republican Party’s nominee.
The choice is simple, Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump.
We all know that she is a crook.
We all know her husband is a sexual predator.
We all know that she is out for money and power.
We all know she will try to take away our guns.
We all know that Trump gets things done and gets folks working.
We all know Mr. Trump loves the U.s
We all know Mrs Clinton loves money and power.

I listened to a late night replay of Phil Valentine on a small radio station. A few weeks ago, I found him live in the afternoon at the same time Levin is on.

Valentine is entertaining, funny, and doesn’t take himself or politics too seriously. That is certainly better than listening to Levin’s ranting and raving and screaming and cursing, intermixed with buy my book, buy my daddy’s book, buy gold, sign up for myInternetTV.

Like you, I downloaded Levin's podcast and eagerly listened to it the following morning as I got ready for work. I learned a lot from him over the last 8 years and mostly have pleasant memories from his show (RIP Tom Marr)

Over the last few years, he got more and more negative. It got to the point every show sounded like a replay of the previous show. I still listen to his show once maybe once or twice a week. The show synopsis posted on iTunes is very helpful, as I know whether I want to download the podcast or not.

I understand his anger and rage, but I am tired of the repetitive vitriol.

These days, I listen a lot to the Mark Davis podcast. He is completely different from Levin: positive, upbeat, funny, and loaded with practical common sense.

Agree with you... It took me a while to admit I had been used in the name of what I hold dear and lived... Now these people are even worse to me than the self admitted liberal/progressives... Liberals do not hide in cloak and dagger.. They are in your face.

Wonder which side Rush will take in the Ailes and Kelly war? I am finding such sweetness in the foxes melt down. Their advertising of ‘fair and balanced’ is something Trump exposed as being fake... I am sooo happy today, after last night. Like we the people made it to the top of the highest mountain... Now the real hard work begins.

He’s this angry guy with a shrill voice on talk radio. He calls himself “The Great One”

He’s an ideological “purist” who had gone so deep in for Cruz in the primaries that now he can’t find a way to get out of it without losing his purity.

No ideological purity of any stripe works in the real world. What works in the real world is what works - which is pragmatism. Trump is above all a pragmatist.
