Like I've said before, Cruz is the next Ron paul.
I'd certainly stay out of small aircraft, employ food testers, etc. etc. if I were a small handful of certain people in American politics.
And because of what 1Old Pro says, if they prevent a Trump presidency, what will come next will be much more serious.
They can allow little n nationalist Trump to win, or a serious nationalist will rise. And if they think they are scared now....
A MAJOR terrorist attack in the US - on the up side, it should push Trump over the top.
Hillary might have dodged the email bullet, no doubt at great expense in political favors, but there is still an elephant in the room.
All mention of the Clinton Crime Foundation disappeared while the “Email Slide” was playing. Nobody talks about it anymore but I suspect the game is still afoot. Influence peddling, money laundering, lots of fun stuff.
I no longer have faith in “Jimmy Fixit” Comey to do the people’s business, but the case hasn’t gone away. Maybe Comey will remember which suit he left his spine in... who knows?
Obama will start a stupid conflict with some nation to try and scare people away from voting for ‘un-predictable dangerous un-stable Trump’. Yeah, like Hillary is so much more competent, history shows....oh wait.

I personally know of no conservatives who have grave concerns about Trump. They can’t wait until he gets in. That will mean the end of Obama and Clinton.
You have NEVER, EVER heard Limbaugh come close to praising Trump like he has Cruz in the past.
He got snarky today with Trump and I turned him off. He acted friendly to Trump until just before the Iowa primary, then it was Cruz all the way.
Hillary will come out as a lesbian. The sympathy vote will be whipped into a frenzy. She’ll come within 8 points of Trump’s lead which reached over 12 points after continued terrorist attacks by off shoots of BLM and continued non- commit all action by Obama.
She’ll still lose.
I predict that this election will see more “broken glass” republicans than recent memory. There is NOTHING Ødungo can do that will deter me.

Take your pick. How about what he wrote in his book: "We must have universal health care". I know he now says he's "evolved" on this issue. He's evolved on a lot of issues. How do we know he won't evolve again?
Probably my biggest concern is, that Trump will double down on the trend of abusing Executive Authority. Granted, he'll likely be doing things that I like, instead of what Obama has done... but, I still don't like the process.
NONE of that matters now. Trump is the nominee. It's him, or Hillary. Cruz, for all of his faults, was MORE right on MORE issues than anyone else in the campaign. "Right", of course, being defined as, "He agrees with me". :-) Ted's problem wasn't where he stood on issues. It was his creepy look, and weird nasal voice, and his "holier-than-thou" Shakespearean way of talking. And... his lack of LEADERSHIP qualities. Trump has that, in spades.
So.... yea, as a Conservative, I take issue with Trump's position on many things. I don't wear 'Trump blinders'. But, his difference on some of those issues make him more appealing to other people. NONE of those issues are deal-breakers for me. Thankfully, I agree with him all all the ones I consider most important.
As Rush stated many times, illegal immigration is the key. We're in real danger of losing our culture, and Trump seems to be the only candidate who really 'gets' that.
Rush, before anyone else, branded Trump as being 'acceptable'. Way back, in the very early stages of the process. This was a BIG help to Trump. If you've listened, you should know, Rush LIKES Trump. He's not at all upset to have Trump as the nominee. Rush will support him every chance he gets.
During the campaign, Rush truly stays pretty neutral. He comments on what's actually happening. That meant, he spent twice as much time talking about Trump rather than Cruz. Trump was ALWAYS in the news.

For every one of you, there's 10 Cruz people calling and there's 15 Trump people calling, and then there's four Kasich people calling. I can't win. To repeat my point, Limbaugh has never, ever, praised Trump like he did Cruz during the primary.
I listened closely during the primaries.
And, he still objectively evaluates Trump. He had on a Cruz-bot about Thursday bashing Trump and at the end, Limbaugh said “I agree with you.”
Now, go and look that up on the transcripts.

Why are you against universal health care? Universal health care should be a societal goal.
I listened on Thursday... I didn't hear what you're describing. And, I didn't find it in the transcripts. I did, however, find where Rush said this:
Because, folks, voting for Hillary is voting for Obama. It's voting for everything that's going on now continuing and being doubled down and tripled down. And it's just... Four more years of this stuff is not recoverable
What more do you want?
A goal, perhaps. But not one that drives government to pay for it, for EVERYONE.

However, if it makes you feel better, you can always vote for Hillary, who is guaranteed to destroy the country for all time. Or, you can not vote, thereby helping Hillary win and destroy the country for all time.
