I forget where I heard it, but the explanation I heard for why Muslims and Dogs don’t mix was something about Mad Mo being demon-possessed while scribbling out the koran, and could not finish his koranic dictations because the dogs would sense the evil and start barking and snarling; therefore he pronounced dogs to be be evil and not allowed, in order that his ‘messengers’ would return to his house.
