Abusive Babysitter Exposed by Family Dog
Pet MD ^ | Kerri Fivecoat-Campbell

Posted on 07/21/2016 2:25:48 PM PDT by RegulatorCountry

Two parents in South Carolina knew something wasn’t right when their normally mild mannered and playful dog started acting strange toward the babysitter they hired to watch their infant son.

Their dog’s behavior eventually led to the babysitter being convicted of abusing that same child.

One of my sisters has a dachshund that is neutered. He is extremely protective of her, and he nips at my sweetheart of a Lab and at some men but not others in the family.

After reading some of your posts, you seem like a fairly decent person, you are just misunderstanding my posts..

So, just to make you livid:

W.C. Fields: “Anyone who hates dogs and children can’t be that bad.”

Don’t even think of blaming the quote on ME!

Time to grill some pork (and dog, personally delivered to me by Obama surrogates).

I agree that in the name of self preservation and defending those you love it is a mans duty to take the necessary measures. I will also go so far as to say its acceptable to defend ones honor or the honor of someone dear.

You kicked a dog that you apparently were not threatened by. Then you threatened someone who did not agree with what you did.

And I quote.

“Understand this or come by my house and I’ll show you what I did to the prick that was harassing me”

I was a paperboy throughout my teen years and am a runner in my adult life. I’ve had more than my share of run ins. Other than self defense or protecting someone else there is nothing to justify kicking a dog.

I still say that the one that followed you was just a good judge of character trying to warn others that you were coming.

You want to attack my masculinity? Lol. I know your type. Petulant, crybaby without a shred of integrity.

Cheers.

Well then I apologize if I did not understand your posts and if it was a communication issue, I in turn apologize for busting your chops.

If that dog was not threatening you though, I will go back to meaning every word I said.

Cheers and here’s to Trump! I’m off to grill some brats here.

I can see immediately why the little dog was going off on the book salesman - after only one post.

You kicked a little dog? What an asshole

Well, yeah, sort of. It’s a great episode.

I’ve been known to have a few before grilling and post things that just don’t come across properly. I’ll write it off that way.

Cheers and lets not let this detract from an awesome story. My guess is that this Lab had witnessed this before and knew it was wrong but understood that there was a boundary that could not be crossed unless things became more serious. It did everything it could to communicate this to its masters and they picked up on it. Smart dog and good owners!

So what breed do you have?

Dobermanns are obsessed with kids.

Mine go berserk when the neighbor plays with his granddaughters next door.

They can’t discern the difference between happy screams and scared screams.

The neighbor thinks the dog wants to attack his girls.

Really, they’re gunning for him.

They love him, otherwise.

This story would have had a much different ending in my house.

They believe Angels will not enter a house with a dog inside.

As if visiting angels would ever be an issue...

My condolences. My new puppy (1/4 pit, 1/4 German short haired pointer, 1/2 black lab) was hit by a truck 2 months ago in front of my house. Fractured her pelvis. Took her 6 weeks to fully recover. Now her mom (black lab) and her no longer sneak out around the fence to go in the road. They used to go out and retrieve ‘human stuff’ off the side of the road and deposit it on my back porch. Like gifts. “Hey, your friends left this outside” Most was trash but I kept the leather motorcycle glove.
