I used to be a supporter of Cruz but that support ended a couple of months ago. He is an absolute disgrace. Ted could have been a player in the revival of the US as USSC Justice if he had been a team player, but no more, last night he committed career suicide. He cut off his nose to spite his face, Today Ted does not seem as brilliant as he once did.

Crybaby Cruz thinks he should be able to do that and nobody can hit back.

And o be accurate....Trump tweeted a picture of Melania side by side with Heidi AFTER Ted’s crew sent out flyers with a picture of Melania with nasty and vicious things printed on it. Trump’s only comment about Ted’s dad was in response to questions from reporters about a picture that had run in the Nat Enq as well as the Miami Herald. Trump said that is odd isn’t it? That he would be on the street handing out leaflets with Lee Oswald.

I am and have been a Cruz supporter. He's not been perfect (ie TTP). But he had all the right enemies in the Senate for all the right reasons. I respected and admired that.

But with that being said ... I can't defend him on the Trump exchange. I won't. It seems like ever since he started taking campaign advice from Mitt Romney and Neil Bush, he's sunk to newer lows with each news cycle. It's a shame. I too think he is damaging his political career, perhaps beyond repair.

I WAS one, way back. I was away from FR , and had completely ignored what has going on politically for quite some time due to some personal issues going on, so needless to say I missed a lot. I saw the ads he ran about “your new first lady” and thought, classless and stupid. After last night and then seeing him going off the rails today, I just see a loon. I’m not “crazy” about Trump, but this country is up against the wall here. If we don’t stop the invasion, we’re dead. I can only pray he appoints Constitutional justices.
