Where are the Cruz Supporters on FR?
http://www.no_source.com ^ | 7/21/2016 | Me No Source

FR brothers and sisters, this thread is for all the Ted Cruz supporters.

I'm a proud Texan, and ashamed of Ted Cruz. I am supporting the Trump / Pence ticket all the way. This experiment in a republic form of government with limited federal controls will not survive a Hillary presidency. I believe in my heart that Trump will be a transformational president. The good he'll do will outlive his Trump Towers.

As for Ted, I don't think he'll win another election here in the great state of Texas. That being said, there are FReepers who still support Ted. I'd like to hear from you. Why are you still defending or supporting Ted? What about this man and his behavior still draws your support for him at the cost of our republic. Because, that's what at stake in this election.

Hillary, Cruz and Jeb.

All in the same bed.

Chiming in. Supported Cruz from the second Palin endorsed him for Senate. Then, all of a sudden, after two years of perfect ground game preparation, donor network establishment, and saying all the right things, he completely imploded just before the voting started.

Hooking up with that whack-job Beck.

Telling Carson supporters he had dropped out in Iowa.

Having that whack-job Beck issue the Oath of Office all the time.

Calling on Trump to release his IRS records, you know, the agency Ted said was tyrannical and he wanted to do away with.

Continuing to hang out with that whack-job Beck.

Releasing a tax plan that still required the IRS and added in the dreaded VAT.

Lying about lying on his SEC form regarding his Goldman-Sucks loan.

Claiming he didn’t know he was a Canadian citizen.

From all accounts, obviously having an affair with a campaign staffer.

Staying in the primary race well past his sellout-by date.

Did I mention hanging out with that whack-job Beck?

And for his final act finale, dragging on for more than twice as long as he was scheduled (just like a liberal) and never endorsing the candidate despite his signed promise to do so.

I now feel insulted by him lying to me for several years about who he was, since all these things reveal a character flawed to the core, and I’m so glad Trump had his mic cut last night.

It’s been confirmed that Jeff Roe, Cruz’ campaign manager, is the one who bought the rights to the Melania photo. He then gave it to the Cruz Pac.

Isn’t that illegal?

Swing states during the election are important and critical.

That’s when it counts, “every vote counts.”

Oh, stop it.
You’ve been whining about Trump from the get.

And Republic_Venom posted nothing but a Flame Bait Vanity.
Sheesh.

Back to High School for both of you.

“I don’t think that Trump ever expected an endorsement. I think that Trump wanted things to go just as they went.”

Cruz endorses or he goes complete schmuck. Either way would benefit Trump. I’ll be generous and assume Cruz is smart enough to know these obvious outcomes were what he was walking into.

If you are a “proud Texan” would you back down on an unconditional pledge that you stated, in a video taken before the whole nation, that your pledge was your “word”?

Don’t give me that “he insulted me, my wife and my dad” crap either! When you step into the arena as an adult contestant you know many things will be said about you and your family. Lying’ Ted disparaged Trump’s wife, but did Trump pout? Heck no, he just hit back harder as a “proud Texan, who was not all hat and no cattle” would!

So, are you “all hat and no cattle” too? Wife got your cojones in her purse?

Supposed to be illegal but they got away with it.

Cruz was involved with all of the dirty doings of campaign from mailing out “voter violation” letters to announcing Carson had quit the campaign. He denied he had anything to do with that yet he apologized to Carson.

What's the biggest threat to the country? I didn't say anything about what the biggest threat is?

Let me guess, you are angry I dared question the LGBT marching orders the media has programmed you with.

They are all encouraged to vote as they fit, no one is going to be begging them. As I said, many have already come around to support the Nominee. Those that won’t, won’t.

“Trump supporters chased them off long ago”

They weren’t “chased” off.

They openly plotted against JimRob, demanded that he kick off the Trump supporters, campaigned for people to withhold donations to the site, openly insulted him, and he even spoke of a plot that they had to “take the site down”. A few of the well-known Cruz clowns engaged in obnoxious spam threads until the Mods had to suspend them. Some MULTIPLE times.

The rest blew themselves up with Opus vanities. They all went to some bootleg FR clone from last I heard.

There may be 4-6 hardcore hard-heads left that are still stupid enough to run their mouths.

I believe all Trump asked was why his father was in a picture with Lee Harvey Oswald. It was the media that inferred his dad with involved with the assassination.

Apparently, Cruz doesn’t own any big boy pants to put on.

What's the biggest threat to the country?

Globalism. Nothing else comes anywhere close.

Where have you been, that you would not know that?

. It seems like ever since he started taking campaign advice from Mitt Romney and Neil Bush, he's sunk to newer lows with each news cycle.

Gee ... the proven constitutionalist starts taking advice from a couple of RINO scumbags, then crashes and burns. Think maybe that's what Romney and Bush had in mind? It's almost as bad as taking advice from the Washington Post.

I was a die hard Cruzer until the very bitter end as my posting history will attest.

After last night, I neither support or criticize him. I don’t support him at this time because in my opinion he should have endorsed Trump. He didn’t have to say anything more than “I endorse Donald Trump because...” and then listed a litany of sins the Beast has committed, a list that wouldn’t have been that difficult to compose.

But I don’t criticize him any further because as I stated this morning on the thread announcing his refusal to endorse Trump, he will go down in history as the biggest sore loser ever or a political genius for forseeing a horrible Trump presidency.

I am comfortable, and have a clear conscience, voting for Donald Trump, as there is no other reasonable choice at this time. I do not hold out much expectation for him, other than he must expel as many illegals as possible, and at least try to build the wall. Everything else he promised I recognize as campaign bravado which is precisely worthless. I am not deluded; I do not believe him to be the next savior of conservatism, as some clearly believe.

Truthfully, I do honestly believe Trump is more conservative than he initially appeared, and he won’t damage the country if elected, but he will not further the cause of conservatism much if elected. Anyone who disagrees is in for a rude awakening after Jan 21.

So I let history be Ted Cruz’s judge now. Because I see no reason to totally abandon him until proven conclusively wrong with historical fact. If the fact is Trump is as I described above (or hopefully better) Ted Cruz is dead to me. If not, if Trump proves to be worse, as clearly Ted Cruz believes, I suspect Trump’s strongest advocates around here will conveniently disappear.

He spent most of those extra minutes repeating the word “freedom” over and over.

Can anyone tell me why he kept bringing up the cop’s daughter? It did not play well.

Any Texan should understand that a Texan can not and will not ‘endorse’ someone who said his wife is ugly.

In my book, Cruz should just take Trump behind the barn and beat the ugliness of his character out of him.

That said, I will vote for Trump as Hillary is out of the question.
