Where are the Cruz Supporters on FR?

FR brothers and sisters, this thread is for all the Ted Cruz supporters.

I'm a proud Texan, and ashamed of Ted Cruz. I am supporting the Trump / Pence ticket all the way. This experiment in a republic form of government with limited federal controls will not survive a Hillary presidency. I believe in my heart that Trump will be a transformational president. The good he'll do will outlive his Trump Towers.

As for Ted, I don't think he'll win another election here in the great state of Texas. That being said, there are FReepers who still support Ted. I'd like to hear from you. Why are you still defending or supporting Ted? What about this man and his behavior still draws your support for him at the cost of our republic. Because, that's what at stake in this election.

“gang assault”

> as this has been historically room for all, and they will vote to prevent tyranny in the next administration .

First of all, no one assaulted anyone on this site. Secondly, assuming we’re discussing reciprocal and symmetric give and take, they and their man lost. They fled because the owner of this site put his mark on his endorsement and set the ground rules going forward. Many of these “assaulted” ones came back and continued to commit clusterf%^*.

Finally, your claim that this site has been “historically room for all” is false. We had wars on this site getting rid of terrorist sympathizers against Israel, anti-Israel anti-semites, white supremacists, storm-front jackarses. They are not welcome, ever.

To the extent these acolytes for the now disgraced Cruz continue to burn both ends of the candle they are largely irrelevant. I would say to them, get over yourselves and your annointed liar.

I dunno, but we better sure as hell kick them while they are down and keep kicking because nothing speaks more of our character than being an ungrateful winner by taking the man who lost and stomping repeatedly on him.

Cause we are so AWESOME!

TRUMP 2016! TRUMP 2020! TRUMP 2024!

Seriously?? Had Cruz done the honorable thing, we would all be saying today that he is a good man, a decent man and has a bright future. A promise should be kept - no matter what.

Isn’t that why we are at this point in the election season. We are tired of politicians who kept promising “If we only have the house” “If we only have the senate” “We are going to reign in spending” “we will repeal Obamacare” “we will stop illegal immigration” “we will stop Obama”

Obviously you still seem to be obsessed with Lyin Ted. Cruz put his own ambitions ahead of our Country. It has nothing to do with Trump. Trump offered a speaking slot. An olive branch. It has to do with Cruz. Don’t try to turn it around.

And sorry about sounding cliché, but this IS...

THE MOST IMPORTANT ELECTION OF OUR LIFETIME!!!!!

We are looking at 2 - 3 SCOTUS picks. Hillary probably has a long list of executive orders already written. Just waiting to take away more of our freedoms. Including millions of illegals becoming citizens. How do you think the republicans will do in 2020 faced with that monster? They will never win another election again. And then there is this.....

“Recently Australia managed to get away, or take away,
tens of thousands, millions, of handguns. In one year
they were all gone. Can we do that? If we can’t, why
can’t we?” an attendee at a New Hampshire campaign
event asked Clinton.

“I think it would be worth considering doing it on
the national level, if that could be arranged,” the
White House hopeful replied, embracing not only a
mandated national buyback program but getting rid
of handguns in the United States.

But you keep backing your lying candidate. I mean afterall. He’s such a constitutional conservative. He’s so honest and trustworthy. And non-establishment. He’s the only one who can save us. And his dad prophesied that it is his destiny. Surely it must be.

And Kuhner has just said that Cruz admitted that the reason he did this was because of revenge.

I was a Cruz supporter but not anymore.. He has behaved badly. I don't especially like or trust Trump but he has my vote. As far as how I was treated on FR by Trump fanatics, it was ugly. I don't spend as much time here and I am not donating. Actions have consequences.

On another subject go and see Hillary's America the Movie. Do not miss it! It is about her but also about the history of the democrat party and how they have cheated and lied since they began.

I was of the opinion early on that Trump should declare he would only serve one term as President , fix things , and move on.. that might have helped to prevent what we see playing out in the media today.. but cooler heads did not prevail nor was a strategy to take back the WH for a decade or two developed..

Blame? The Bushes .. and Clintoons, of course.. arrogant bastards.. and their cohorts.. and underlings.. and hangers on.. and Beltway insiders.. suckered to the bottom of the TReasury mothership feeding troughs like barnacles to an old freighter keel.

Michael Berry is saying today, as he makes excuses for Cruz, that Trump can’t win without Cruz voters. I don’t think there are that many left.

I have yet to meet a person negatively referencing the Lyin Ted moniker who has any idea what Cruz did to earn it.

Iowa shennanigans, saying he didn't know his campaign was calling around to tell people that Carson had dropped out?

I supported Ted Cruz. But when I saw the overwhelming support for Trump and his message, I knew he would win the nomination. I have predicted and continue to predict he will win the general election in a landslide. I believe there are many Democrats who will vote for Trump over She Who Shall Not Be Named for a variety of reasons.

This primary has been a fight for the direction of the party, which primaries should be about. I think the elites lost this one. I hope that is the case.

It was perhaps not surprising to me, but still disappointing to see many prominent Republicans not supporting Trump as the party nominee. This is doubly so for Ted Cruz. He reveals himself as a self centered politician, not the statesman I have long considered him to be. His reputation has been tarnished, beyond repair, by not endorsing the nominee.

That being said, I am fully in support of Trump and his message and can not wait to pull the lever for him in the general election.

I voted for Cruz in the primaries, although I agonized long and hard over my choice. But I never had any objection to Trump, and if I hadn’t voted for Cruz, he would have been the one.

I don’t regret my vote for Cruz: I thought it was the best choice at the time. But I’m totally on the Trump train as it leaves the station en route to the White House.

“//Trump said horrible things about Ted’s wife and was over the top with his dad and the JFK thing.//

And Cruz started the wife thing. Also, Teds daddy was involved in the clique. Pics don’t lie.”

Cruz’s father is a whacko bird. It had to affect Ted’s personality in his formative years. Ted is a bit “off”, IMO. Now, does anyone know if the alleged picture of Ted’s father with Lee Harvey Oswald has ever been confirmed as actually him? Was that Ted’s father with Oswald? And if so, what was he doing being there with Oswald? What is the connection?

Contrary to how Ted portrays his father as a freedom fighter in Cuba, his old man was initially a Communist, just like Oswald was a Communist. I’m suspicious of this whole “situation” about Ted’s father, just like Trump was suspicious of it. What’s the real story here about this. Is the man next to Oswald in the picture Ted Cruz’s father or not, and if so, why is he in that pic? Inquiring minds want to know.

“I think that Trump wanted things to go just as they went.”

Was the booing coordinated ahead of time? Two hours is plenty of time to spread the word

He obviously doesn’t have many supporters in those states or they would have emerged during the primaries. And of course, some of them have already moved to support the Nominee. If the rest want to “hold out,” that is on them, no one really cares.

Where have you been? Cruz is considered worse than Hillary, and proven a serial killer. Also, now you can’t be considered conservative if you are against gay marriage.

No, it was a NH campaign ad. I gave it the once over lightly treatment in post 136, but trust me the details are simply devastating...to Cruz’ integrity.

It was after that ad ran that Trump remarked that Cruz was the most dishonest person he’d ever met—and he added that he’s encountered some of the world’s greatest liars. Hence, Lyin Ted.

Cruz constantly said “Donald, I had nothing to do with that.” It was his superpac and he never condemned it. However, he did give the superpac money from his campaign. So he did have something to do with it.

That's the biggest threat you see to the country? Just shows how bad Cruz would have been destroyed in the general.
