It may not be a civil war yet, but these are the birth pangs. Soon, it will be more than black kooks vs police. Once Fed.Gov gets involved, they will widen it to gun owners, I believe.

I'm reminded of The Twilight Zone episode with the famous line "To serve man....it's, it's a cookbook."

People fell for the peace-loving philosophy ("World Peace 1.20.09") but nation's had no use for military or guns or police.... and then the ultimate goal was realized. People better wake up because eight years of Obama and then eight years of Princess Hillary will mean lights out.

Yep. It's down to Blue on Black. Cue Kenny Wayne Shepherd.

Blue on black
Tears on a river
Push on a shove
It don't mean much
Joker on jack
Match on a fire
Cold on ice
As a dead man's touch
Whisper on a scream
Doesn't change a thing
Doesn't bring you back
Blue on black

The shooter (now deceased, after being blown up by a Dallas PD robot that detonated an IED at his hide site) was one of at least four snipers. That isn’t “acting alone.” Obviously, the dead assassin is a graduate of the Hillary Clinton School of Truth and Candor.

Understand the other suspects aren’t cooperating. Watch for some high-priced criminal defense lawyers to join their legal teams in the coming hours. In the meantime, there is a lot of furious scrubbing going on in Dallas (and elsewhere) to minimize ties between the killers and groups like BLM, and other members of the activist/political class.

I saw that on Drudge last night while I was up to feed my baby. Yes it will evolve and this is just the start I’m afraid.

That is what they probably said at the time about John Brown as well...

The fact is that the black and white populations of this country may be mutually incompatible. Until 1940 or so, whites had the upper hand, with white mobs tearing apart black areas with impunity, as in Chicago in 1919 or Tulsa in 1922. Lynching was a frequent event, with law enforcement turning their backs on the mob actions. The police and courts came down hard on black criminals, and there was no pretense of equal treatment. This was as true outside the South as in the old Confederacy, although Northern and Western states largely did not have Jim Crow laws.

After the rise of the civil rights movement, blacks developed political power greater than even what they had under Reconstruction. The main enemy of the black thugs was the white working class, who lived close to the black ghettoes. A combination of upward mobility, fear of black street crime, reaction to forced busing, assimilation of the children of European immigrants, and deindustrialization largely emptied the inner cities of the white working class. Most cities became black or other minority dominated, with small white areas of affluence, usually well guarded, and pockets of white beatniks/hippies/hipsters/SJWs, whose shame at their European heritage made them feel guilty even when robbed, beaten, or raped by black thugs.

I was doing some genealogical research yesterday, and read a news item from Belfast, Northern Ireland, dated July 14, 1940, describing Catholic rioting against Protestant marchers celebrating their victory against the Catholics in 1690. Little has changed there in 2016. The centuries old sectarian violence is between two groups that are virtually indistinguishable physically, and can only be sorted out by religion and maybe surname.

Some problems may be intractable, and the racial differences between whites and blacks may be one of them.

The vast majority do. If you look at the crowds during a BLM march, the protestors seem to come from one of two groups. The first are street thugs and gang-bangers, using the march to gain a little cover and legitimacy for their activities. If they affiliate with BLM, the next time they’re arrested by the cops, it becomes a media event and the case is more difficult to prosecute.

The rest seem to be college students, brain-washed by their professors and social media. They’re willing to fill out the protest ranks, but many don’t know why they’re out there, and when you ask them a relevant question, namely, how many whites are killed by cops every year, and how many whites are killed by African-Americans, they have no clue. But they can march, record video with their smart phones and plaster their crap all over social media.

Most of the working and middle-class black men and women I’ve spoken with have no use for BLM. But many are forced into silence because their “leaders” have fully endorsed the racist protesters and their agenda.

On a different note, I have a question for FReepers with specialized military experience, including SF, sniper school, etc. I’m retired AF, but I was not security forces, combat control or pararescue. We only fired a weapon every few years to fill a training square, so my knowledge of sniper planning/ops is limited.

How much training, tactical expertise and planning would be required to pull off an ambush like the one in Dallas last night? Twelve officers gunned down in less than two minutes is not something that was planned/executed on the fly. Would greatly value the insights of those with training and expertise in those areas.

Thug culture abetted by a complicit media and President promulgate unwarranted anger in order for both to further their aims of domination of all.

Regardless, the NUMBERS, the continually resuppliable resources, and numbers enough to disperse geographically doom any foolish dreams of takeover of this land.

Their ‘supply’ depends on entitlement replenishment and the ability to operate in urban areas dominated by black administrations or abject liberal administrations that use them. In short, the fools just don't realize, have no inkling just how many guns there are ‘out there’ beyond their enclaves waiting for them.

They win only so long as the administration goes to contain the conflagrations to urban identifiable areas. Once they go beyond that this government is useless. See FEMA, see CDC, set EMAs see all those other agencies that utterly fail time and time again.

The Civil War started in Washington D.C., not at Harpers Ferry. Brown wanted to start a race war.

Excellent question which I also seek an answer to. Additionally, these protests sprung up yesterday like summer thunderstorms. The one here in NYC was flashmob in its appearance. My question is how, given the fast formation of these protests, did the shooters achieve the ideal firing positions and arrive so well outfitted for their task?

It is NOT a Civil War (yet).

It is an uprising....the first since the Indian Wars, specifically the Apache uprising which took 43 YEARS to quell.

Lying Ryan just said that we all need to heal now.

He of course agrees with Obama that more gun control is needed.

(CNN)"A high-profile gun bill pushed by House Republicans leaders remains in limbo because a key bloc of conservatives opposes it and GOP leaders can't muster the votes to pass it.

"House Speaker Paul Ryan acknowledged that he had work to do with his own members to get consensus on his legislation, which is part of anti-terrorism package of measures he and other leaders drafted and planned to vote on this week. "
