RIP, I thought he was older than that. Sad that he died at 73. I knew him from when he was on WOR in NY during the early 2000s and substituting. He was friends with Bob Grant.

He was worried about that surgery. He hinted as much last time he hosted for Levin.

Former Oriole broadcaster.

I wonder if this is the hospital’s fault.

He was the only one of Levin’ s subs I enjoyed, especially his monologues. RIP. He had a great career.

I’ll miss him.

Twenty years ago my husband had back surgery here in Baltimore. One week after back surgery he had a stroke. We were very lucky that it was a minor stroke, although it took away his wonderful talent for playing guitar. Strokes after back surgery are not unusual. Tom was right to be worried.

I am very lucky that my husband and the love of my life is still here, protecting, providing for and loving his family.

We are very sorry that Tom left our community too early. He had so much more to give.

I’ll jump in for this.

May the Road Rise up to Meet You!

May the Winds be always at you Back.

May the Sun shine warm upon your face.

And the rains fall lightly upon your fields.

And until we meet again.

May God hold you in the Palm of his hand!!

Rest in Peace good Man!

!

Until we ( all ) meet

Tom was a great host, the greatest around.

He broadcast Orioles baseball games for some years back around 1980 when the Orioles were on WFBR Radio.

Hey, thanks for mentioning that he was a Trump supporter. That makes me happy. I was wondering that, since I stopped listening to Levin around January, after he became so unpleasant about everything.

He often spoke of being a lapsed Catholic, and how he knew his late mother was praying for him. I hope he got things straightened out. He was an outspoken pro-lifer.

Yes, he was great, the few times I heard him.

Speaking of Philly, have you listened to Rollye James? I see that’s she’s back on the air.

She was on in SoCal in the early ‘90’s and was very anti-Clinton.

Ditto. It was great to hear him when I was in range of WCBM. He was a Marine and a 1964(?) graduate of Montgomery Blair High School in Montgomery County Maryland.
