Don’t care for it—it doesn’t sound like the Monkees.
That’s like saying a Beatles fan didn’t like Magical Mystery Tour because it didn’t sound like She Loves You ! ^_^ If The Monkees had stayed together all these years you think they would have sounded the same as in 1967 ?
It does bear some resemblance to the post-Monkees tunes of Mike Nesmith (such as "Rio").
