Sometimes, we can mark that progress in special places hallowed ground where history was written places like Independence Hall, Gettysburg, Seneca Falls, Kitty Hawk and Cape Canaveral, The Edmund Pettus Bridge.
One of these special places is the Stonewall Inn.
To equate the Stonewall Inn with places like Gettysburg or Kitty Hawk is to cheapen significant national monuments.
Is to destroy the concept of American exceptionalism
Gettysburg. The family went there as I was a child, and I remember how we drove through the park at night, slowly. Only the sound of the whippoorwill came through our open windows. It felt like the earth knew to be silent for the remembrance of the dead. We have men who fought there in our family, on both sides. They didn’t die, but they lost everything because of the war.

Trump said he is selling these areas to get them out from government and pay off the debt. I say good for him. The government has no business running these places. Private companies can do it and we need to pay off our debt.
