Both Gingrich and Sessions are terrible choices

Who Should Trump Pick for His VP? – Help Him Decide! NEWSMAX POLL

I highly doubt that Trump needs help deciding who his running mate should be. He can do that by himself.

Hunter is a terrible choice.

The ONLY objective right now is to win the election.

Hunter doesn’t bring a swing state and doesn’t enhance a complementary demographic.

Same for Gingrich, Sessions, Demint, and Cruz.

I don’t understand why people don’t grasp this obvious point.

One thing for sure is that Trump will not pick a VP based on an internet poll.

I believe it will be West. Trump posted a retweet featuring West yesterday, and the instant I saw it I had a premonition. Trump has finally settled on him, but he wants to keep it deeply under wraps till the convention. Still he’s excited, and he wanted to put the name out there. A tweet would be too obvious, but a retweet was perfect. He tantalized West fans with the allusion, while giving nothing away.

I think it’s West.

The only thing obvious about Sessions is that he would be the wrong choice.

We have to win the election. How does Sessions help that? Not at all.

Petraeus is a white dhimmi on the Saudi payroll and he wants to disarm innocent civilians of their 2A rights, so no. Jeff Sessions is a good and “safe” choice, probably the best and quite possibly the eventual choice.

_______

I must disagree. Sessions is the ideal pick. What he ads is what critics claim is missing—experience, seriousness, sobriety, steadiness. He is a perfect counterpoint to the more brash Trump. He would bring the shy conservatives on board. Best VP candidate by far.

If we lived in an identity politics-free world, Newt would be the best choice. Unfortunately, the 'Rats would have field day slamming the ticket as '2 old white guys'. He really needs to pick someone who would negate that argument.

They need to bury the hatchet: Trump should pick Ted Cruz as his VP. I know TC is not too popular around here anymore, but IMO, Trump/Cruz would be the unity ticket.
