>You could be right about the stare. She clearly understands his lust for power, and she understands the lengths he will go to in order to obtain what he wants. His time grows short, and he will slip up and be dispatched.<
Ah, but given the mindset of the HBO writers (women uber alles) I interpreted Sansa’s look toward Littlefinger more as an “Ah, hell naw!” expression. Jon had told her she, being the trueborn Stark, should be Queen. Obviously the lords hadn’t gotten that idea. Jon didn’t correct them, like Theon corrected Dany and Tyrion that he was unfit to lead, and that he supported his sister’s claim.
I will not be surprised one bit if Sansa doesn’t team up even grudgingly with Littlefinger to claim what she sees as her absolute right to Winterfell. She has always deep down considered Jon as beneath her. Has she truly changed her mind? Time will tell.
I like it. Doubtful though. She can imitate the face, but not the height and not a man’s voice.
Considering the first book was published in 1996 I would say no.
Now there are other shows out there that are definitely pushing that but the "A Song of Fire and Ice" series gets a pass.
I would be disappointed if she ever teamed up with Littlefinger again for anything. She might end up being Queen of Winterfell, with Jon Co-ruling with Daenerys. I still expect Littlefinger to get dispatched in a future episode. To me Jon would be a very capable and wise leader. I hope I’m not disappointed.
We didn’t hear him speak, and the faces do change the body as well.
Arya appeared as a 6 year old girl to the guy in the brothel who liked little kids.
I was sure I heard him speak as they were riding towards the city. But anything is possible with this show. I will laugh out loud if you are eventually proved right.
LOL, because it’s highly entertaining with edge of the seat plot twists. I love it.
Obviously there will be a 3rd dragon rider, John obviously is #2.
You could be right about who #3 is...
Actually, in the books the king of the iron islands doesn’t have the horn, his brother (passed over for the throne) does and arrives in slavers bay as the battle with the maesters is taking place. The show has not even introduced or contemplated that horn. Also, the books don’t make it clear that it is doing anything other than burning the person blowing it.
“The most likely being Jamie kills Cersei, as he recognizes the woman he loves is absolutely insane and evil.”
Possible. However, keep in mind what Jaime said to Edmure Tully - tied up in the tent outside Riverrun: if necessary, he (Jaime) would kill EVERYONE in order to get back to Cersei.
Of course, he may have just been using a bit of hyperbole to scare Edmure into submitting...
I hope you’re right, but remember. Littlefinger did school her on the strategy needed to play (and to succeed in) the Game of Thrones.
She was raised to wed a powerful man. She expected to be Joffrey’s (ewww) Queen and to rule Westeros. She stated that that was her greatest goal.
She was raised to hold Jon as beneath her. She watched her mother’s attitude toward him. She admitted she treated him horribly when they were younger.
actually only two can kill her. Either Tyrion or Jamie.
Remember the prophecy. Three children she will have, gold will be their crowns, gold their burial shrouds, and that she will be queen, but only for a short time until someone younger and more beautiful takes it from her and that he brother would kill her.
The point of that was to show that a lot of TIME just went by.
That is VERY important, because TIME would be needed for the King of the Iron Islands to build his “largest fleet the world has ever known”. I believe that fleet will play an important role in the coming season.
quote “Theory: Jamie died at Aryas hands at the Twins, along with old man Frey. It is Arya in Jamies face awaiting to kill Cercei.”
whoa!!! that’s a heck of a theory!!!!
I don’t know if that’s how it will go down, but WOW good guess!
As valid theory as any at this point.
I believe in the end one of the two female dragons will die.
My theory ... the Dragon horn will only control one dragon. The other two dragons will be forced to kill it, leaving on one female and one male for John and Daneries to ride.
Sansa WILL end up the Lady of Winterfell, John will end up being the KING along with Daneries.
>actually only two can kill her. Either Tyrion or Jamie.<
Even if Tyrion turns out to be the third head of the Targaryen dragon, he would still be her half brother. Jaime, of course, is her twin.
My choice is Tyrion, if nothing else because Cersei has been trying to kill him for years.
The horn was introduced in the show... he brought it with him to the kings moot and blew it when he put forth his claim to the throne.
