This is where we get transporters: have some sort of 3D printer that can print us out at a new location while simultaneously destroying us at the original location.
Whoopee!

But how good is it with pianos?

If I understand this correctly, it was done with adult stem cells, not fetal stem cells. So no babies had to die for our new lung.

probably they got it to work by just randomly throwing amino acids in a bowl until the magic happened. ;-)

I’m thinking maybe a third arm would be nice. That way I could type in my normal way and still keep my hand on the mouse hovering over the Preview or Post Buttons on FR. A big time saver.
Plus I could certainly be at least competitive in the World Juggling Federation competitions.
Just thinking out loud. There are probably other good uses that will occur to some. ;)

If this means I can get a new lung to replace the one that was taken out in ‘07, without killing anyone, sign me up. Otherwise, I’ll just keep waiting.

As for “printing” an integrated, living, functioning organ, you can file that under science fiction.
And there will never be transporters that move a living creature from one place to another.
I like Star Trek too, but I understand how things work.
