“Too late for NY. I believe Comrade Cuomo’s “Safe Act” already requires gun registration.”

I get your point and add that in addition to NY, CT & NJ have either gun registration and/or FOID.

But the state of Hawaii using a Federal database to register gun owners AND monitor their doings & whereabouts, is IMO both unique and dangerous. It’s known as “precrime”, the method used by NSA to identify potential terrorists.

Hawaii by its action now assumes that all gun owners are potentially dangerous because of what they possess. This is guilty with no chance of proving innocence, and that’s fascism.

Question: Thinking of going to HI. If I take my family to HI, can't I carry a revolver, unloaded, in case, and inaccessible as per FOPA of 1986? I have CCW, but know there is zero reciprocity, but I would assume I would be protected under FOPA from my house to the hotel room?

Anyone know?

Of course, once I get there, I would, never, NEVER load it for protection...........

Thanks in advance.

"And so it begins!"

The beginning of their end-game, that is.
It might be a very dangerous summer, and will be a miracle if we make it to November in one piece.

Not trying to be a pessimist, just a realist.

But they aren’t doing this for violent, illegal criminals. Only for non-violent legal people who have followed the rules.

The goal is to take guns from non-violent honest individuals, and leave them in the hands of violent criminals and jihadis, so they can waltz right in and take what they want from the good guys.

The Democrat wet dream for the USA! They can’t confiscate what is not registered!

1940 Europe
From Berlin on January 6th the German official radio broadcast—”The German military commander for Belgium and Northern France announced yesterday that the population would be given a last opportunity to surrender firearms without penalty up to January 20th and after that date anyone found in possession of arms would be executed.”

If they don’t like the US Constitution, they should NOT be in the US.

Where is the NRA?

I wouldn't bet on the NRA helping out here — they seem to be A-ok with allowing unconstitutional gun-laws to stay around and, in fact, I could see them trying to milk this development as another of their your gun-rights are about to be taken away, send money now!-campaigns. (I find they're rather like the Republican party in that they talk and talk and yet are content to be the underdog/failure so they can always urge for more.)
