Not attempting to collect old debts. Just concerned as have not seen her posting in some time. On vacay perhaps? Hope all is well.
Lol, not sure what that other site was like before they hung out the "refugees welcome" sign, but it is now a testament to the dangers of unchecked immigration.
Amntn is with Cthulu in Maputo working on Ubuntu for Mobutu ...
LOLOLOL!!
Amen :)
You mean this guy?
Names Ash Housewares
Now you’ve done it.
Gone and woke him up.
And here I thought I was going to get away with the obscure reference of the day.
*ping* to my #28 ...
Thank you, Mark!
Why all the hullabaloo then?
Not sure, if I disappeared for a few days I think some people (who shall remain unnamed) would throw a party, LOL)
Well then, perhaps she’ll be back shortly. Have a nice evening! :)
Thanks MK Ping to my #11
and thanks for your help.
The banned reference was for Cripplecreek, not esteemed poster amntn.
it must be nice to be missed,, by so many..
VERY funny !!!!!!!!!!
.
Nice persons are seen to be an asset and when not around, it’s natural they would be missed. Happy to see she is now found and all is better. :-)
I am alive and well but I have had a pretty difficult last few months and just haven't had time or the inclination to post much.
I've been reading now and then and posted a few times but have not been able to keep up with ongoing threads.
A few months ago I got very busy with work and just couldn't find time to post.
Then a little over a month ago my 37 year old step son committed suicide.
He and my husband had been estranged for a couple of years due to the son being on drugs, stealing from family members, lying, and all of the assorted things that go on with drug addiction.
We tried drug rehab but it failed and he ended up in prison for theft.
When he was released we had hopes that he would be able to change his life but that filed too.
He, again, faced legal trouble and going back to jail and he chose to end his life rather than face prison again.
Of course my husband was devastated. Losing him was terrible but losing him to suicide was almost unbearable for him.
Then last month my son sent me the following in an email about my daughter-in-law:
"We are sad to report continuous bad news in regards to Sabbaths health- This is the latest in a nutshell
· Sabbath had blood work done last summer from her general practitioner Her doctor immediately went into panic mode and scheduled an appointment with the best Neurologist in the area which happens to be here in Jasper to treat her MS. He has a 1.5 year waiting list and she has seen him 10 times since September.
· Sabbath had an MRI performed on her brain and neck late last summer They are aggressively treating her MS on her brain stem to stop the progression with Tecfidera. They plan to perform another MRI to check on potential growth. They reported 20% MS coverage on her brain stem
· Sabbath had more blood work performed last month by a new Rhuematologist and her general practitioner They set her up another appointment with an Endocrinologist and Oncologist/Hematologist who is planning on chemotherapy to treat stage 2 plasma-tic Myelogenous leukemia. They found swollen lymph-nodes which they plan to remove as well
· They also referred her to a Oncologist GYN who is scheduling a double mastectomy in 3-4 weeks due to lumps found during another MRI. They are planning on a complete organ scan to determine if the cancer has spread
· Sabbath has had nurses come out to our home to give her injections of antibiotics and low doses of chemotherapy for the last 6 weeks
· They all plan on major chemotherapy in June and possible admission to the hospital for around 30 days"
So, I have been spending as much time as possible with my husband lately and also trying to help my son with as much of his workload as I can to try and ease their lives a little.
I haven't wanted to post all of this because it is sad and I didn't want to post sadness.
But since I have, I will go ahead and ask for your prayers for my husband, my daughter-in-law, and my son.
Thanks again for your concern.
We are here for you.
Prayers for you and your family.
