They also carted off several obelisks.

Must not have been built by aliens.

The original stone cover probably covered the error.

It’s a little saggy with age, but I hope they won’t go the silicon implant route to firm it up.

Was it the same size as the one in Giza?

So you have hard data to make fun of pyramid power dorks with. This completely crushes one of their favorite claims that the pyramids are more precisely aligned to true north than we can do today.

I’m not part of the Art Bell crown by any means. But by just looking at that thing the idea that a pre-iron age society built that thing is ridiculous. Even worse are the statues that had to be cut in pieces to move for the Aswan Dam...that somehow slaves pulled them miles upon miles across the desert on wooden rollers? When no hard wood even existed in North Africa? So they had to import it? All done by a subsistence farming economy? Please.

It must have been put here by aliens after all. Turns out it wasn’t a grain silo, but a giant spore...

Thanks Red Badger. One end of each of the corbels roofing the Grand Gallery are only hanging on by a fraction of an inch, if memory serves. After construction, Khufu's pyramid was wrenched by a massive earthquake, one so large that there's never been a recurrence.

Because the edges aren’t there any more. Just signs of them.

Huh?
It does have five sides. Six if you count the inside.

IIRC the Aswan temple was originally cut into rock, and moved by sections to the current location to avoid the waters of the Aswan dam that was being built in the mid 1960s.

The pyramid was sold by weight, not by volume.
To: Red Badger
Built for the pharaoh Khufu about 4,500 years ago, the Great Pyramid at Giza is considered a wonder of the ancient world.Khufu, Greek Cheops, 'borrowed' the Great Pyramid from even more ancient builders. There is evidence that the pyramid was built before the Flood.
This is truly a unique structure. In 1984 I was in Egypt and visited the pyramid. We went inside and climbed to the geometric center of the pyramid, where the sarcophagus had been.
