4th Gun Control Bill of the day (Block Gun Sales with a govt "List") Fails to Pass (42 Yes/49 No)
Posted on 06/20/2016 3:45:40 PM PDT by Red in Blue PA
None of these measures would have affected the Orlando Massacre. Not a single one. And the Orlando shooter was taken off of the list, even after traveling to Saudi Arabia twice and going to the same mosque as a suicide bomber!
One party seeks to take away our ability to defend ourselves from Jihadis. There is a special place in hell for these people.

Democrats want to deny rights without due process, which is clearly unconstitutional. Democrats are just thrilled that an unelected bureaucrat can deny rights to American citizens just by the click of a computer mouse.
The contempt I have for Democrats is indeed profound.

A very big shame that Congress did not direct the FBI to conduct full investigations of every name on the No Fly list and either charge them with a crime, or remove their name from the list. A bigger shame that Congress hasn’t directed Homeland Security to deport anyone who has their name on the list, via ship transport, naturally. Because everyone knows a terrorist can’t blow up a ship...

Are the Pubbies playing into the hands of the Dems by providing them an election issue with these failed votes?
They knew most would fail. This smells.
I can see Clinton running ads that the mean ole Republicans voted down gun control measures, so the Republicans have basically {insert teary eyes} declared Open Season on the American people.

This was a game. The Dems knew none of them would pass.
Hence the Republican Party will be the party in favor of massacres by guns.
Never mind Chicago....that doesn't count.
To: TomGuy
I just posted what you are saying. Yup...Republicans are in favor of mass murder by guns.....
Except there's a huge population that firmly believe in the 2nd amendment.
To: Red in Blue PA
Here's a gun ban we could all support: No Federal Government employee or contractor, not in the military, or overseas, shall possess any firearm or any ammunition. Penalty for first offense shall be a $50,000 fine. Penalty for the second offense if still a Government employee or contractor, is a choice of life in prison with no parole or death.
