My son is in great spiritual and emotional pain right now. His faith is strong, but he does not understand how he is allowed to suffer without relief. He interprets all of his suffering in spiritual terms, which is probably a mistake.
I do not fear suicide. My son and I have talked about this and it is not in his mind.
I do ask your prayers, that his doctor find medication that works, that my son be able to deal with his sadness and anxiety, and that he be guarded from all evil spirits.
Prayers your wife’s way also.
Prayers being sent right now.
Prayers sent.
Prayers up for both, The son and the wife.
When I was young I lived near the Tiffany glass company. There, they used to make glass figurines and of course, all other types of glass.
Well a process they had of tempering had the craftsmen make the figurine (That’s what I saw, the figurines) and they would look great. Then they would throw the figurine into a barrel and smash it. They picked up the pieces and remade the figurine.
They repeated this process a few times until the figurine would not break. That’s when they knew it was good enough to go out into the world.
They understood that every piece from Tiffany carried with it the name of Tiffany. And that in order for that name to evoke confidence and quality they had to do whatever it took to produce the best.
That’s how we all are. We are tempered in this same fashion. When we break, we break a little less each time.
We are made tempered.
Prayers up.
I don’t know if this would help him, but even the apostles had issues that caused them to suffer. The passage in 2nd Corinthians, for example: http://www.biblestudytools.com/passage/?q=2+corinthians+12:7-10
I am praying for your son in his battle against both physical and spiritually forces. Yes, Jesus is your son’s champion.
Prayers for your son’s health and healing.
I will pray for you and your son.
Praying now.
Prayers for both the families now.
May the strength of the Lord be with your son.
I of course don’t know what your son is fighting, but I have faced a few very emotional and spiritual heartaches, and have come out stronger and better for them, even though I thought at the time I would never live through them. I do wonder about the use of medication, though. That dulls the heartache, but I think it truly must be faced head-on, and dealt with, before it can go away and sort of be “absorbed” into the whole being as a lesson harshly learned. My best wishes to both of you. It really does get better, but it is all in God’s time, not the doctor’s.
How old is your son?
Been There ... Pastor was a great help...
I just hugged my daughter for about 3 days... may sound weird but she is my baby (a Daddy’s Girl)so she slept with Mom and Dad like she was still a little kid until she could process what was so scary to her.
It worked for us
Prayers for the healing of your son emotionally and spiritually , and for your family.
prayers for your loved ones... and for you as you also suffer with them. I know...
Your son certainly has my prayers. I will pray for strength for you too.
I can empathize with his situation. He will overcome this.
Prayers up immediately..
Prayers up for your son.
When you’re going through trials, it’s so easy to over analyze to try to find out what’s going and and find a solution.
