My son is in great spiritual and emotional pain right now. His faith is strong, but he does not understand how he is allowed to suffer without relief. He interprets all of his suffering in spiritual terms, which is probably a mistake.
I do not fear suicide. My son and I have talked about this and it is not in his mind.
I do ask your prayers, that his doctor find medication that works, that my son be able to deal with his sadness and anxiety, and that he be guarded from all evil spirits.
Prayers for your son going up now.
Prayers for your son in every way you asked.
Sometimes things are not spiritual, but physical.
Done. My wife could use the same.
Prayers sent for your son, heartwood. May the Holy Spirit bring comfort, protection on all fronts, and healing.
Prayers up
This dad will pray for your son.
Prayers up in the Great Name of the Lord Jesus Christ!
Prayers up for your son.
Prayers up for your wife.
I hope and pray that your son has good communication with his doctor, that he can fully describe his symptoms and how urgent his need is. Please let him know that he is not alone. We will pray for peace, comfort and strength for him.
Prayers up for the son of heartwood and the wife of chajin.
Dear L-rd, please reach out with Your healing hand and touch both of these people who need Your loving embrace and Holy Spirit; heal their bodies, hearts, and minds and restore their faith and renew their spirit; in Jesus name I pray, Amen.
Thoughts and prayers are with you both. Perhaps review with him the example of Job and how he suffered, yet in the end recovered, doubled what he lost, and lived a long satisfying life.
Everyone here on the boards - we’re with you.
You’re not alone. But while it’s comforting to think of FRiends supporting from afar, remember that Christ is Lord even in the storm.
Look at the account in Mark 6 when Jesus asked the apostles to set out in a boat ahead of him. A storm came to them. Jesus watched them from a mountaintop - and even though the storm was fierce, the apostles kept staining at the oars even into the hours of the morning. There were fishermen among them who knew how serious their situation was, but they never gave up.
And then Jesus walked on water, climbed into the boat, and instantly calmed the storm. Instantly.
So don’t you give up, alright? It’s during our hour of need that we can draw close to Christ and know that He has a plan for each of us, inscrutable as it may seem.
Thoughts and prayers are with you both. Perhaps review with him the example of Job and how he suffered, yet in the end recovered, doubled what he lost, and lived a long satisfying life.
Prayers for your son, heartwood, and your wife, chaijin.
May you both know abiding peace.
