So ... Okay.
I am not the biggest fan of Donald Trump. His character is a serious problem for me. And, I don't have to tell y'all what I think, believe, and know about Hillary Clinton, posting on a site like this.
However, I have been listening to Hugh Hewitt in the mornings lately, now that Bill Bennet has retired.
One question: What the hell is wrong with this guy?
Thoughts are always appreciated.....

I listened to Hewitt when I was out on the Left Coast. He has been in the tank for Romney for over a decade and wrote a book titled “A Mormon in the White House”. He is about as GOPe as they come on talk radio.

His dying show is trying to remain relevant, by hitching his go-cart to the train which is catapulting over the cliff, of the GOPe establishment. It is a circular firing squad, to be sure.

He is very cagey and it took me a while to catch on, way back in 2006 when he was trying to sway us to accept amnesty the first time they tried to pass it.
I quit listening to him and Medved once I figured out they were attempting to manipulate their listeners to give up their country without a fight.

He thinks elites like him and others like Romney and Ryan must decide for us who is the proper Republican nominee, sinve the rabble masses picked Trump, that must be nullified. As a trained Ambulance Chaser he is using the lefty lawyer techniques to try to usurp the will of the Republican voters at the upcoming convention.
Hewitt is a neo-con to the max and a big fan of Lindsey Graham. The Republican party can do no wrong in his eyes.
Trump is the antithesis of everything Hewitt stands for. That’s my take on it, and I listened to Hugh for years. Not anymore. He’s good on some of the cultural issues, but that’s it.
