This is Rowling’s lame ass way to show how open minded she is. She’s always pandering to the left.
It is clear that this is just Rowling bowing down to pressure to be politically correct.
She changed Dumbledore to gay, just before he died.
Now she had changed Hermione to black.
Both are very clear attempts to please the gods of political correctness.
There are references in the book to Hermione’s white face as she peeks out around a tree.
And if the book said she was black, the movies wouldn’t have starred Emma Watson.

Fluid gender is worse than transgender.
A transgender is 80%+ of the time a mentally ill man who wants/thinks he’s a woman, fewer than a quarter have the surgery, so the majority of transgenders are mentally ill guys with male plumbing demanding access to women’s spaces to validate the delusion.
Fluid gender isn’t even consistent on the delusion. Today I’m a man, tomorrow I’m a woman, whatever I feel like, it is fluid. It is also a category that lets a guy use the women’s bathroom today and the men’s tomorrow, and because it is a category, they can say that and defy categorization.
Come on, we all always knew Lord Voldemort was the good guy.
