A very bad day in history indeed. Divisions in the Body of Christ have real consequences.
Jugular wine.
Ridiculous! Our division is our strength. We come together when forced to, but resist apostates like the current Pope Francis.
Muslims call us “blood drinkers” because of communion. They are the ones thirsty for blood
It was a Tuesday, a day still seen as cursed by Greeks. When I was little we were told the story of how our ancestors died on the walls of The City with the God Ordained Emperor, Constantine XI Paleologos and of the final Liturgy at Agia Sophia when the women and children were raped by the Mohammedan Turks and dragged off into slavery and the old people put to the sword. It is a horror we will never forget and which we have passed on to our children.
I might be wrong but didn’t Donald say something about them giving this back?
From a geopolitical standpoint, a more significant date to mark is 1071, the battle of Manzikert, which opened Anatolia to the Turks.
By 1453, the Turks had already conquered most of the Balkans, and the Eastern Roman Empire was but a tiny remnant of its former self.
Muslims call us blood drinkers because of communion.
This is what is done in public. It isn't hard to imagine what is done in private.
Hint, the vial is half-empty.
