Id rather leave them than to try to force those idiots to leave us.Do you actually think liberals would allow us to leave, and not be under their control?

A planet 1,200 light-years away is a good prospect for a habitable worldNow to figure out if it has an iron core and a magnetic filed to protect it from high doses of stellar radiation. Then we can send contractors there to build a Super Walmart that accepts EBT cards.

1200 light years?
Too close.
But I have a list of about 5000 that need a reservation...

why do they have to put artist’s renderings? That steams me. It’s supposed to be science. It reminds of the archeologists who will find a knuckle bone and artist render some guy from eleventy-gabillion years ago and tell you what movies he liked

If there can be constructed a drive capable of 1,200 times the speed of light, we could be there in a year. But even on Star Trek, they could achieve a speed of only about Warp-14 or so.

I would think that would be the least of the problems. After 1200 LY of travel time, the exposure to constant cosmic rays would likely kill you.................

It reminds of the archeologists who will find a knuckle bone and artist render some guy from eleventy-gabillion years ago and tell you what movies he liked...and what he had for breakfast...
...and then they'll start a months long food fight arguing details.

The article doesn’t mention anything about what type of start is involved here. Therefor, 50% of the story has been left out.
Not very scientific.

Unfortunately, it is in the Romulan neutral zone.

Fanciful thinking but not without a possibility in the future. Even Daniel foresaw it: “But you, Daniel, shut up the words and seal the book, until the time of the end. Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase. Daniel 12:4 ESV (English Standard Version for those from Kenya.)

“Good luck getting there.”
-—I know right! On Star Trek, even at warp 9 it would take several years to get there
