[VANITY] Hotter That Usual Summer Coming. Not Good For Either Convention,Rust Belt Or Chicago.

Posted on 05/26/2016 7:56:02 PM PDT by Cruz_West_Paul2016

The entire rust belt just may be in for a scorcher come June, and maybe thru October. By now most of us have seen the forecast. The worst thing about heat waves in the rust belt is either lack of rain or breezes. Are we going to have a repeat of the deadly 1995 Chicago summer? And what about the DNC/GOP Conventions? It's probably going to be around 95 to 100 degrees those weekends. Are the Democrats still going to protest and "Break Stuff" while baking in that heat? And will the Leftist Loonies start up again blaming the excessive heat on Global Warming and White Americans?,Right? And where were they all winter when we were all Freezing !! ??

With warmer weather, murder rates will go up in much of this area.

Hotter than usual?

Heat waves from the past...

NYC: 1879, 1882, 1883, 1895, 1896( a brutal one!), 1900, 1936, 1937, 1972.

Michigan: 1962, 1963.
Tulsa OK: 116 degrees in 1936 and 1984. I remember downtown Tulsa at 105 degrees May 5, 1972.

1984 was so hot our electric company reached it’s peak on Sept 5 of that year.

I’m reading an early history of the Apache wars in Arizona. It was so hot it rarely got below 120 degrees in summer, and the then current joke was you had to tie two mercury thermometers to get the real above 120 readings.

What will make this year so HOT is the political situations at the conventions. Time for the police to stock up on Hickory hair shampoo.

The devil wanted a place on earth
Sort of a summer home
A place to spend his vacation
Whenever he wanted to roam.

So he picked out Arizona
A place both wretched and rough
Where the climate was to his liking
And the cowboys hardened and tough.

He dried up the streams in the canyons
And ordered no rain to fall
He dried up the lakes in the valleys
Then baked and scorched it all.

Then over his barren country
He transplanted shrubs from hell.
The cactus, thistle and prickly pear
The climate suited them well.

Now the home was much to his liking
But animal life, he had none.
So he created crawling creatures
That all mankind would shun.

First he made the rattlesnake
With it’s forked poisonous tongue.
Taught it to strike and rattle
And how to swallow it’s young.

Then he made scorpions and lizards
And the ugly old horned toad.
He placed spiders of every description
Under rocks by the side of the road.

Then he ordered the sun to shine hotter,
Hotter and hotter still.
Until even the cactus wilted
And the old horned lizard took ill.

Then he gazed on his earthly kingdom
As any creator would
He chuckled a little up his sleeve
And admitted that it was good.

Twas summer now and Satan lay
By a prickly pear to rest.
The sweat rolled off his swarthy brow
So he took off his coat and vest.

“By Golly, “ he finally panted,
“I did my job too well,
I’m going back to where I came from,
Arizona is hotter than Hell. “

We don’t need no stinking solar activity.
Manbearpig says it will be super duper hot, so it will....

Sure.

Yep. Here in South Central NM so far this year it has been AT LEAST 10 Degrees cooler than usual at any given time.

Last summer was similar. Ran the cooler about half as often as the several years before. The earth is cooling, not heating.

My theory is that increasing levels of CO2 cause liars to lie more, not cause a ‘greenhouse effect’.

Do not think we have hit 100 yet in West Texas. Gonna be tough with all our humidity right now.

Still freezing here. Low of 32 two nights ago, highs in the 50s the next few days. Lousy stinking weather for gardening. Thanks a lot, Algore!

You said it! This is the coldest May I’ve known in a long time.

The “long hot summer” may take a familiar form this year; Baltimore II, anyone?

Warm weather, warm water. Does this mean worse hurricanes?
