Has anyone else noticed that -- all of a sudden -- there are very few mass shootings lately?
In fact, almost none.
It's almost like Obama realized that these events aren't getting the clamor for gun control he wanted.
It's almost like Obama flipped a switch.

I would be much more curious to know the number of mass shooting events per year, not the number of victims. If you have a single mass shooting in each of 2 years but the first event results in 1 death and 1 injury, while the following year’s shooting kills 10 and wounds 40, on your graph it would look like a 50 fold increase in mass shootings when really you had the same number of incidents in both years. No increase at all.
I looked for a graph of shooting incidents by year but I cant find one. But then goole has made it much harder the past few years for me to find everything from the conservative view point I used to be able to easily find.
Give you an idea how much it has changed on the gunny side of the equation....
About 12 or 14 years ago I started open carrying on a routine basis. I got my fair share of stares and raised eyebrows back in the day. Fast forward to today. I rarely get a second glance when I OC today. Guns are just a part of the background.

Another thing that I found suddenly noticeable is how many times has it been reported that the White House has been invaded with no problems, everything is just hunky dory, and no seeming repercussions for the security lapses.
Why then, today, is there an invasion of the White House and there is now a body, and the news has been major portions of all White House All the Time.
Does that HHHHHHMMMMMMMmmmmmmm have anything to do with your HHHHHHHHHHMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmm?

You know it’s interesting, now that I think of it, the contrast in reactions between that shooting and the Treyvon/Michael Brown cases. Of all situations where innocence was clearly attacked, that was it. Yet the rioters run rampant over people who were preying on their own neighbors. Very interesting. Christ was not a part of the equation where riots erupted. Still it makes me shake my head at who people justify getting riled up over.
