Aerial Video Shows Sharks Around Surfers Near Santa Cruz

A recent video shows some chilling shark activity near Santa Cruz.

Tour company Specialized Helicopters posted an aerial video to the company's Facebook page of sharks swimming near New Brighton State Beach in Capitola.

Well, they’re certainly not juveniles, but they are too small a species to be aggressive towards humans. There are only about 3 species of sharks that regularly attack humans, and they’re all larger than the sharks in that video.

Just two million years ago sharks like this grew to a length of 60 feet.

You are right about..the number.

Some info suggests some deep sea White Tips..also...but they aren't shore sharks..per se.

Still...we may have to disagree...I saw a shark in the video..that was easily 10-12 ft long...Generally blue's don't get that big..

So...we disagree. Big whoop!
