The world is still paying attention to millennials and their migration habits, despite Generation Z’s incoming threat. And while millennials appear to like cities, thanks to their good public transportation and myriad Apple Stores, a new study says some of the world’s biggest urban areas are in danger of losing their young people in the next 10 years.

Global initiative group YouthfulCities interviewed 15,000 millennials in 34 cities all over the world, splitting them up by continent. And of those millennials, 58 percent said they planned to leave their city within the next decade, noting that they’re being driven out by high costs of living, safety issues, and problems with employment. …

Oh man, I can’t wait to put Garland in my rear view mirror.

Glen Rose area maybe, or a few miles east of Mena, AR. Somewhere I can’t hear car stereo bass notes. I mean hell, that’s all you hear around here: BRRRRRRRRRRRRRMMMMM ... BRRRMM ... repeat.

Squealing and pointing at a bulge on a hip does not save people from a shooting, out here...

Hell, that's practically wearing a sign that says you need to be shot.

Yep, there’s more to life than being financially stretched in a trendy city neighborhood. There’s more to life than being near trendy bars and restaurants.

Every night it’s me or some of the neighbors doing some range time.

Where do you live? It sounds like a place I would like to retire to in the next five years. The Socialist Democratic Peoples Republic of Maryland is getting to be too much for me.

Yay, Viking! Couldn’t have said it any better myself. We’re not done for yet, who think as you do.

Will sleep well tonight, my weapon close by. Tak!

Cities suck for mere survival. So much radicalism and hate in the cities.

Love your post. My just finished college freshman son works his back end off. He knows the value of a dollar. Why do so many presume they are pajama boys? Bugs the crap outta me!

Alternate, alternate lyrics:

San Francisco
You opened your Golden Gate
To let homeless defecate
Outside your door.

San Francisco
Please hear this wondering one
Saying I’ll go there no more.
Other places used to know
You were the best.
Now, you stink and know it
So you must confess!

Cities such as Cleveland are building many apartment buildings to meet this socially engineered millennial demand for downtown city housing. Who's going to fill those apartments when they become less desirable? Meanwhile, you've got suburban schemes for high-density "higher income" high density housing. It all seems a bit like a scheme to herd folks into prison-like environments.

Who makes out? The contractors; they're a cancer. They gotta' keep on building stuff. The social manipulators.; their Brave New World is all about people having every bit of their lives under control.

Dear Millennials:

West Virginia is a horrible State, populated entirely by toothless, unedumacated, long-haired hillbillies who would as soon make you squeal like a pig as look at you. And we all have guns. Lots of them. And we carry them with no government permission required. Be afraid. Be very afraid. Stay in your coastal cities where you belong.

...there are a lot more millennials than there ever was beatniks and beatniks had more ambition.

Maynard G. Krebs comes to mind....https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=maynard+g.+krebs+work&qpvt=maynard+g.+krebs+work&view=detail&mid=C129DC4062BF93A1653BC129DC4062BF93A1653B&FORM=VRDGAR
