The tourists weren’t the stupid ones, they saw a poor bison calf in need of help. It probably couldn’t keep up with the herd, so it got left behind. The tourists did the right thing, took him to the park rangers, figuring they care and will help.
The rangers were the stupid and cruel ones.
Well, the tourists have learned a valuable lesson: Don’t approach the government expecting that its agents will help you. Not only did they not get help, they were fined for their trouble.
Nonsense! None of this would have happened if the idiot tourists had obeyed the law.
I’m still waiting for their home state to be disclosed.
Regardless, the tourists should have left the bison calf alone. Herds often leave the weak and ill behind. Survival of the fittest ensures a strong and more health herd.
They should have contacted the park rangers not made contact with a wild animal.
Actually, the tourists WERE the stupid ones. They thought the calf was “cold” and grabbed it away from the herd and stuck it in their car. http://www.sfgate.com/news/article/Yellowstone-tourists-put-baby-bison-in-car-7469642.php#photo-10005888
