I guess we better hurry up and fund that grant now, shouldn’t we?

Yet another consequence of the commie libs’ “open borders”. There were reasons for nations having their own laws and borders. We’re all about to find out what those reasons are and it’s going to hurt. A lot. Then again, stupidity should always have to hurt.

Too late.

We already all died from SARS. And ebola. And bird flu. And swine flu.

Fool me once ...

Maybe it’s time to do something radical, like introduce DDT and kill off a significant number of the carrier population.

Oh, wait, it’s much better to control the impact through abortions and birth control...(/s)

“We don’t know why Zika infection was not associated with serious human disease, especially in newborns, until recently,” said co-author Dr. Stephanie Valderramos...

There is still no definitive link between the Zika virus and birth defects. The fact that a correlation only appeared in Brazil, but never before in the history of the virus is highly suggestive that something else is going on.

Also, the headline is misleading. Viruses mutate constantly, it's what they do. Does that really signify much? No, unless you happen to be a geek (like me) who likes to construct phylogenetic trees of viruses to track their spread. Otherwise, a set of mutations that causes a virus to become more virulent and contagious is incredibly rare and unlikely. That's because viruses are very specific about how they cause disease, and any mutation that changes that specificity decreases the virus's ability to survive.

There were reasons for nations having their own laws and borders

What's astounding is that it has taken so long for the obliteration of borders to cause chaos....with unstoppable war-mongering, the spread of diseases to populations that cannot contain them, and economic collapse. Now added to the mix is the globalist inspired laws that are rapidly destroying social norms. And let's not forget the decline in cultural achievements.

One has to wonder if this is even reversible any more. Perhaps for nations that can have firm borders and with a resourceful population with strong problem solving skills. For most of the global population, not so much.

Buh bye everybody. Or not. I coulda sworn we’d all be dead from aids by now anyway no matter what you do. Does anyone think a few doses of DDT might solve the skeeter problem? To heck with the ecowacko greenatics.

look into the 1918 flu. It will happen again and it wasn’t a joke. Modern meds will Have little impact unless you are among the 1%.

Speaking of viral infections,...who else has had, “The Cough”?

5 weeks now, and the 4th iteration.

Everybody I know in SoCA has had it and the only commentary is of Whooping Cough in epidemic proportions, which I think is a variation of the infection.

A Z-pak helps any infection, but doesn’t cure the cough. Purely a head cold symptom, with periodic post nasal drip.

I’ve known some folks who have taken 4 Z-Paks in 5 weeks,..not good. We’ll hold it down to one after about 3 weeks and call it hay fever.

We had the same thing about 4 years ago. Only happens at the change of seasons and about a 5 day incubation period.

Don’t know if it’s contagious or just pollen / allergy related with springtime reappearing with fluctuations cold waves.

Anybody else? (Misery loves company, don’t you know...?)

Or it might not. Probably won’t. But we haven’t freaked out about a disease in like a year, so it’s time to PANIC (funky big zoomy graphicc, horns, other stupid things).

It probably won’t. That flu was probably the last time we had a weak enough medical sector combined with bad enough general hygiene and a strong enough virus for something like that too happen. Modern meds have quite the impact, there’s better stuff available OTC now for a couple of bucks than existed on the planet 100 years ago.

Yet according to Obama we overreacted during ebola scare a couple of years ago.

...and only more money can save us.

How many times are they going to pull this “world coming to an end” cr*p?

And just as important, how many time are we expected to fall for it.

Want to solve the problem, DDT.
