A St. Petersburg man who videotaped himself going into a local Target said he was just trying to clarify the company’s bathroom policy. That video has since gone viral. It was recorded on the heels of Target’s recent announcement about its policy.
“(We) welcome transgender team members and guests to use the restroom or fitting room facility that corresponds with their gender identity … Everyone deserves to feel like they belong,” Target said.
Both the local video and Target’s policy have come under fire.
More than 800,000 people have signed a petition from the American Family Association saying they will boycott the big-box chain because of the policy.
Andy Park says he went to the St. Petersburg store on Park Street Friday. Park told News Channel 8 he was “dressed like a man” and originally thought the policy was a hoax.

Manager: “Yeah, yup. That’s correct. Yup.”

Park: “OK. If any of the women have a problem, will you let them know?”
Manager: “Yeah. They can come, and we’ll speak to them.”

According to the article, Bruemmer is a “transgender activist.” Notice how he is reframing the issue.
No one is worried about cross-dressers committing crimes in restrooms. We are worried about children being exposed to things that they are too young to have to deal with. We are also worried about an overly-broad and poorly thought out policy that allows sex offenders carte blanche access to their victims.
Let’s not allow “activists” to hijack this debate.
People are really missing that point here, and that is how wickedness takes root (that is, when people misunderstand the priorities in battle):
The main problem with disposing of the longstanding tradition of bathroom exclusivity is the erosion of trust. The God given attributes distinguishing the genders are there to assist mankind in its fallen (from grace) state whereby those of the opposite gender tend to lust after one another, especially men for women’s bodies (we are “wired” differently).
The discrimination between the two genders is healthy and cannot be bested by other important but lesser concerns. It is the debased mind that cannot sort through such Godly concepts and natural logic that deal honestly with the human condition.
When so-called “trans-genders” are permitted access to their declared identity, there is no protection from gawkers and all sort of sordid folk who are now given access without question to the privacy and privileges and burdens of the God-given opposite gender.
You bet your daughter and child and neighbor and your own self will suffer great loss in this attack on human dignity! With sensible barriers removed people are put in situations where trust is lost even more than it already is and we are driven apart from one another as a community, and as such easier prey for evil to conquer us.
Satan owns Target.
That suspicious-looking person loitering around the Target restroom is more likely a member of the AFA looking for men wearing dresses than a pervert looking for a quick thrill.
