Why not simply stop posting and stop looking at articles on FR? How would that be different from deleting your account?
Often I will take a break. It’s usually when I’ve tangled with someone. I log out for a week or so. No need to fall on your sword. It’s just an Internet forum!
The poster has the ability to come back now as a retread without having any prior threads to look at for comparison.
We each have writing habits/tendencies and they can be seen. For example, misusing their/there or it's/its. My particular habit is writing 'ya'll' instead of 'y'all'. Lots of small things show who is really writing/typing.

You would be able to identify the difference between Tolkien and Hemingway, wouldnt you? Its the way they write; their voice, in writing, is as natural as everyones speaking voice.
Why not simply stop posting?
They all fail. Every one. 100% failure rate in opus point-making so far, at least in my opinion.

Deleting the account deletes the entire posting history.
That would be the smart thing. People dont know how to just disengage without burning all their bridges anymore, if something gets to them.
Just take a break. Week, month, whatever you need.
