I agree. The entire point of an opus is to prove one’s narcissism superior to the dunces who remain. These lackluster, inoffensive, portions of passionless pablum should be outlawed!
I suggest a minimum of 1500 words
We should allow extra credit for cursing and YELLING.
At least three ad hominem attacks should be included.
Mentioning your candidate fifty times at a minimum
Trashing their opponent and supporters
Railing about fairness and how Jim is bigoted
Extra credit for persecution complexes
It still needs work, but this should give us a good start.
I truly think admins should look to rule-making on opuses. For instance, if the opus fails (below 1500 words), the admin refuses to let them leave. I’ll leave it up to admins to figure out how to do it.
Also, I think it would be necessary for a proper opus to have all the college, masters and PhD degrees laid out for the rest of us dummies.
